Jinx does work but does not exist. Meaning that, if you say everything is going fine, nothing could go wrong... Your chances of making a mistake do increase, because your brain gets scared. Is like telling someone, dont get nervous. That is just going to make them get nervous. Saying dont crash, might make you crash cuz now you are not in the zone or focused on driving, you just focused on not crashing but dont drive as good anymore and that leads you to crash anyway.

The larger issue is that while it's all well and good that your car doesn't put out exhaust fumes, most electric cars still charge their batteries off power grids that are powered by fossil fuel power plants, so their battery charge just becomes an extra burden on those power plants, thus making them burn pretty much the same, if not more fossil fuels. (confirmation needed for exact numbers on this, lol)
personally, i think electric motors should be reserved for small lil hatchbacks or vans that stay within city limits, helping people and goods get around more condensed areas, as a more direct form of travel over mainstream trains/subways for getting around cities.
