In your video when you announced that you were getting a divorce (which is the video that I just happened to stumble upon), you said that you knew some older people who got divorced at the same age as you, and remarried later in life and were happy. If you are like me and can't afford a fire blanket, keep Baking Soda (opened and ready to dump if needed) handy in your kitchen , or near the grill. It will put out a cooking fire. I know this from personal experience! It worked with me!

EMDR therapy saved my life! We were able to find the point in my life that was the most traumatizing and the therapy helped me switch the image in my brain of the traumatic event to an image of comfort from the people after the event. It truly changed everything for me as I don’t have that image in my mind unless I really try to think of it but if I think of the event I think of the comfort vs the trauma.
I’ve been watching since you moved into your second house in California, thru all the subscription boxes. Which is originally why I started following. But I have to say, thru it all. Hi there! Not sure if you experience migraine headaches or not, but if you do, it can be super helpful to know that up to 30% of all migraines are caused by changes in the weather (more specifically the rapid shift in barometric pressure). My husband calls me a Doppler because I ALWAYS get rain migraines the day before or the day of rain. If your body often feels different around rain, you could be experiencing predrome. I feel lucky to live in SoCal since we don't have to deal with rain very often, at least! Good luck!

I am from Singapore but my counselor has lived in the US for over 20 years she recently returned back to Singapore to practice (she was born in singapore) and she has used EMDR therapy with me. I loved hearing your experience, as I also tend to shut out my emotions, especially i struggle with ADHD I get very overwhelmed and I just completely will not want to bring up a topic and i will shove it under the rug until a next session, we have been wanting to try EMDR, but i might ask her again tomrrow in my session with her!
What is your therapist licensure ? Psychologist,LPC , LMSW ? Each field you have to be licensed in each state how psychologist have a little more grace state to state than others . Also certification and or training doesn’t apply to licensure . As a LPC we have to be licensed in each state we see a client in order to see them .

Yay wedding week. Just a note- the Kettle and Fire broth you’re drinking is their *chicken broth* and NOT their *bone broth*. They make both, but just noting as the chicken broth tastes better but is not as nutrient dense as their bone broth :)) the package will say either chicken broth or chicken bone broth on their website, they have two versions
Yeah I was wondering why it was coming out just a straight liquid from being refrigerated. The fresh bone broth I get at my local grocery store turns into a gelatin in the fridge because of all the collagen.
