The term I like to see used for off quality material is “impaired “.

How can you determine the date of ASE's in sealed mint tubes when there is no dating on the outside? I like to keep the mint seal intact.

You did a video a long while back about removing gold bars from assays and prior to buying in order to test them for authenticity. Do you at the present time do likewise with
gold coinage which is graded, or do you consider the risk of fraud with respect to graded coins so minimal as to not bother?

They don't remove coins from graded slabs, but they do remove them from TEPs, the flimsy plastic shells, that many bars come in.
