To me she was super tricky to place during the process but when you placed the brights on her it was so beautiful on her! She has such unique coloring! Congratulations!
Thank you, yes, I wasn't sure at first what way the analysis would take us but I let the colours do the talking and we got there :) Beautifully bright! :)
I'm the rare blonde winter, too! My hair is actually a dark ash blonde, but I lighten it, but I think my dark eyebrows and light gray eyes are what seals the deal. I love winter colors! Great analysis, btw!
Interesting , in Finland and Russia and Iceland , where I’ve visited , you see a lot of blondes that may well be winters as well, similar colouring to your guest.
The idea of mixing the two sets of sister seasons was brilliant! It was instantly crystal clear which pair better suited her - and I wasn’t quite sure before. Hope to see that again in future analyses if appropriate. Just a wow moment.
I, actually, was a victim of the stereotypes too. I have dark hair and eyes with pale skin so i thought i was definitely a winter but i always felt like winter clothes were a bit overwhelming on me. Turns out i'm a cool summer and i don't need to have light eyes like most celebrity examples.
I would live to see a dark skin person who's a soft summer. As I suspect I am one too. For years I thought i was a dark autumn, but I slowly started to realise how "pink and ashy" I looked. I also figured out I was olive, which I didn't know black people could be too.
Very interesting. I've thought for a long time that winters could only be dark haired/ high contrast... because that's what I've heard and read the most. But then I started to discover that there are actually professional color analysts who have a different opinion on the matter, such as you. I like your way of thinking better, it makes more sense actually. I think that many people often seem to lump together brightness with high contrast. Which is stupid, I've started to realize. They are two separate things . I have a question... what is the most common and least common palette you have analyzed ?
Thank you! Yes I let the colours do the talking and never try to categorise a person and make assumptions before I drape them. I think I might answer your question in a video, keep an eye out for it!
I am a bright spring but was always told I had the features of summer. Wearing summer colors my blue eyes looked dark brownish black. I never felt right wearing the cool muted colors. I finally realized stop following what other people said and do my own research. I have a warm undertone and look amazing in the bright spring colors. I have blue eyes and now that I wear the right color palette, my eyes look bright blue. People who have known me for years starting telling me they never knew my eyes were blue, but the right colors enhance your natural beauty. I wear less makeup and also spend so much less on my wardrobe. No more wondering if this will look good on me. Also my clothing mixes and matches so easily because they are the same value and intensity. It makes getting dressed so much easier. Loved the video... thanks for sharing! ❤
Great work done 👍! I totally agree with Bright Winter although she is blonde. I have a book from the 90s of "Colour me beautiful" written by Doris Pooser. It's also about the 12 Subseasons and for Bright Winter she shows a picture of an ashy blonde woman with a similar looking skin. I think i am a COOL Winter myself although i am blonde, more clear "wheat" blonde, neither really golden nor ashy, with grey eyes and lighter olive skin tone, which tans very easily. My dad and sister have the same skintone and undertone, but they had dark brown and black hair, before they got grey early. Most summer colours wash me out, are too muted or too soft. It's very obvious by using lipstick or eyeshadow colours. It just shows, that the skintone and its undertone is the most relevant thing by chosing the right season. Thank you for all these great videos ❤!
I'm a winter with natural golden blond hair and I'm neutral enough so both gold and silver suit me, as long as they are clear, not at all muted. I got color analysed by my grandma when I was a teenager with large fabric drapes. My sister is also a winter, she has platinum/white blonde hair, but only silver looks good on her. Never in those old Color me beautiful- books I could find my hair color in the winter category, although there was platinum blond mentioned. Before the color analysis, I wore mainly summer colors, which are too muted for me, and I often felt I looked a bit washed out in them.
Yes I think colour analysis has come a long way since those books were first published. I try to keep an open mind with every client that I analyse and let the colours do the talking! How lovely that your grandmother did your colours! Lucky you! :)
Actually Carol Jackson in the very first book in 1980 mentions that there are blonde winters but she doesn't show any models or clients with the coloring. It is a blurp on the winter palette page as she is explaining typical winter coloring. She explains that it is atypical but very possible to have blonde winters.
Hmm, I wonder how much what you see in the recording differs from how it all appeared in person, because I know a camera can never capture the full spectrum and nuance, but on my screen, at least, the darker colors suited her much better, whereas the brights at 21:40 almost seem to wash her out and the Spring tones definitely don't suit her to my eyes. Like, the lavender/periwinkle tone looks great, but the peachier tones seem all wrong when compared to the fuchsia, for example. I also thought that the Cool Summer palette at 18:00 looked maybe the best out of all the subseason palettes, especially that plum (although possibly minus the turqoise), although Cool Winter at 15:37 is maybe also tied for #1. A lot of the Winter colors seem to show up very neutral or even warm-ish on my screen, though, so I can't say how well what I see corresponds with what natural lighting actually showed, but I'd actually rank Deep Winter waaay above Bright Winter, and it's my pick for #3, at least of the palettes shown fully.
Hi, I just watched the video and here's what I think: First of all my colouring is quite similar (although my hair is more medium ash blonde). So I'm also light and neutral-cool undetone. For a long time I was confused because I thought I was closest to summer, but summer colours seemed too muted to me. The best I thought were light summer colours, but they seemed too light and pastelly - like you say here they are for your customer. I think the problem is actually with the palettes. Most light summer palettes are too light for people like us, but I think bright winter colours are too harsh for her. I mean the combination of lighter bright winter & some bright spring colours was very good on her, but as a whole when you showed the whole bright winter palette, it was too harsh and contrasted for her. Too dark colours in it & definitely black is too much. My aha moment was when I found the sci-art light summer palette, which seems to be different from most other light summer pallettes. It has more medium toned that are quite bright but tinted with white, so not as saturated or contrasted as winter colours. I love those colours as a primarily light & kind of bright coloured person! This was very long comment, but I've been thinking exactly these colour questions so much. So what I'm saying is you got her colours right but pallettes are just not quite right for her. And I 100% agree autumn colours are not here colours. 😊
I was searching round the internet because I'm a blonde/light brown/little red clear winter, and found you 🙂 I was spring season 30 years ago, and the colours didn't seem that good anymore. So I tried again and turned out a bright winter. I can see it suits me, but they tell you in books and videos that you can't be blonde. So it was lovely to find your video❤️ Now I trust my colours more. I noticed you didn't try black on her, that's not my favorite, either. By the way, I'm off cause grey haired now as old. Thank you 💜
I loved this! 🎉🎉🎉 I was loving a lot of individual colors from the other Winters on her, but the bright just fully suited her lovely personality. And I was a bit stumped in the beginning too. She certainly has some of those universal colors going for her too! ❤❤❤
Thought she was a summer first but I’m quite shocked that her undertone was bright.. learned lots watching this episode. Never to rely on your own views but let the drapes do the talking. 😅🎉
I’m also a light blonde and my main characteristics are light, bright and warm, according to the analysis I got. I wasn’t sure if I was Light or Bright Spring, but it turns out I am some of both. Everyone always thought I was a Summer and too light to be bright. I found an excellent bright color palette that works so much better for me than soft and light colors only. I wear the brighter colors from Light Spring and also Bright Spring colors (but not the warmest, because I have a lot of neutrality). I’m just so glad to have this validated a professional, and another on this video. I have always felt best in bright colors, but people always told me blondes should wear light and soft colors. My hair is bright strawberry blonde and my eyes are a darker bright green, so I’m not uniformly light.
Thank you thank you THANK YOU!!!! I’ve always been positive that I’m a winter, despite having naturally blonde hair and blue eyes! My hair has darkened over the years to now being dark ash blonde, but when I was a kid it was totally white blonde. I can’t afford to get a proper consult done, but at least now I feel validated in my own theory 🎉😊
Greetings from Germany I know that kind of colour spectrum and undertone searching advice for over 30 years. I'm so glad that that knowledge is kind of back. Now everybody is told that you can wear anything witch is true. But in knowing your colour palette one can build a coherent closet. Everything fits together, even accsessories and jewellry. Good for sustainable purpose And the things that aren't neccesarly your "fit in your palette" can be worn as some sort of fancy exception. I' m telling this as a 50 Year old woman who was given a colour consultation and advice at the age of 19. Since then I saved money because in knowing I'm a Winter I had no bad buyes at all in my life. All my clothes fit together and my exception is on summer dress with a lot orange in it. I rock this dress by doing good make up when I wear it 😉 Hope that was understandable since Englisch is a foreign laguage to me. Lots of compliments to your work 😊 Alexandra from Bavaria Germanyno
Hi Alexandra! Thanks for watching and commenting! Yes the benefits of a colour consultation keep revealing themselves over the years. It is such a wonderful investment! Greetings from Ireland!
Wonderful analysis! I thought I saw a tinge of warmth in her eyebrows and thought for sure maybe a warm season. 😅 .. was NOT expecting Bright Winter. The bright winter/spring mix you did was incredible on her 🎉👏🏼
She has almost like a silvery glow to her skin, especially with the cool pink... that *kind of* disappeared with the silver fabric, but it still looked better than the gold one. And the icy blue from the bright palette looked lovely on her! Also, thank you for saying that blondes can be winters as well! I've been struggling with figuring out my season because of the attitude that winters can only be brunettes. My natural hair is light-to-mid-brown with a hint of red in it (I hate how it looks, but that's a different story), but I feel like I look best in black (which is a winter-only colour, IIRC).
This is super helpful! I have very similar coloring to Amanda, but my hair is naturally bright white/platinum. I can pull off super bright colors & look washed out in pastels - thanks for confirming I'm a winter!!!!
Thanks for sharing. Found this particularly useful as I'm Irish but live in Australia, so it's great to see consultations with Irish clients as I see some similarities. I think I'm neutral leaning warm but main characteristic is bright. I love that you showed someone blonde can be a winter. I was blonde as a child now mousey, but my intensity is a bit deeper as I can tolerate more contrast. Thank you feeling more confident in my thoughts...would love to have a consultation..maybe one day when I visit. My brother lives close to Dublin 😊
Thanks so much for this. My natural hair colour was dark blonde, although it was very pale when I was a kid. Since going gray I’ve been gifted with beautiful bright silver hair that I love. My skin tone is cool, and I’m pretty pale… but I have dark brows and lashes and quite vivid blue eyes with dark rims to the iris. I’m definitely a winter. I suit slightly muted winter colours , the really bright cool shades don’t look so good on me, I’ve always felt thrown when I’ve read that light haired people can’t be winters..
Really interesting as always. To me, it's obvious that a blonde could be Winter, because a) that might be best on their skin; b) I'm not sure what else you could do with someone who is cool, bright and light-medium. But it's great to see it actually happening. Thank you.
I definitely saw brightness in her skin. And a neutral-cool undertone. I believe she’s a pure bright, between winter and spring. This was a very close one, a lot of fun to watch. i would have liked to see light summer on her, a lot of analysts would have placed her in that category.
Loved seeing this! After a lot of research I think I might have similar coloring to her, and I landed on bright winter for myself. The main difference between me and Amanda is that I am not a natural blonde (my natural color is an ashy light brown). I cannot tell which eye color Amanda has from the video but I am a bright cool blue shade which really also makes a lot of blue shades look amazing on me, and I suit a lot of the deeper colors that didn’t look as amazing on Amanda as the brighter ones.
I just went to new analyst. And she she thinks I’m a spring but she second guessed herself and now thinks winter. My closet is filled with 50% winter clothes. 20+ years ago I was analyzed as a summer. What I thought was I was buying as summer colors are actually winter colors. I’m coming to the conclusion I’m a bright and should stay away from the dark colors. My analyst is having come back at no additional cost and meet with her business partner with much more experience to finalize it. I’m so glad you are an honest analyst who knows a blond can be a winter. I told my analyst to cover my hair but she forgot. My friend went with me and had her colors done and she is a definite spring. Because she colors her hair she remembered to cover her hair. Because my hair color is natural, she didn’t think to cover it. I’ve had people insinuate that I have colored my hair and that the colors are wrong for me. 😂😂😂 No, this is natural. Ignore the hair and pick my colors. I’m sure that whichever season, I will be able to borrow the brights from the other bright season.
That's why I don't like 4 seasons theory, because it doesn't include all the variations. It describes Winter as cool, bright and dark, but what about cool, bright and LIGHT?? The lady in the video is definitely cool, bright and light! I would even say that cool isn't the main characteristic, but rather bright, light and cool as the last one.
There is no such thing as being bright and light. Bright in this case meaning saturation, and saturation inherently darkens because by definition there is less white in it.
I understand that your season doesn't change. But can your subcategory as you age? Say you are a bright winter, but then your hair goes gray. Would you then perhaps become cool or dark?
Your season can indeed change :) It is your undertone that does not change. But you may lose some of your chroma/intensity or value/depth in your features which could mean that your season might change :)
Thank you! If you mean Kibbe etc, I don't follow those. I trust my eye and ask my clients good questions that produce information that informs my analysis. I am also a NLP coach and I use this quite a bit in my interactions.
@@sarahryanthestylecoach ❤yes that is what I mean. I’m interested but a bit hesitant. For example I got the Trinny and susannah style book and the advice for my bodyshape were not working at ALL😵💫 It said skinny jeans were the worst for my curvy bodyshape. and overall the concept was always to show a lot of cleavage (which I just don’t like, to display like free cookies, just not my cup of tea😂) I found kibbe to be less ”corrective” then the fruitsystem..but since sooo many interpretate him, as always when too many chefs cook a soup it gets confusing😅
There’s a color analyst who often posts pictures where she has typed people as winters, and they have light to medium brown hair highlighted blonde, and I’m just very suspicious of it, especially bc the bright colors really overpower them. And I think she might just like winter colors. But she charges a lot for that.
From my studies of colour and travelling to over 80 countries I have found that some Seasons are more common in some parts of the world than others so depending where that consultant is based it could be quite true! Geography does play a part :)
So great to see a colour analysis of a blonde winter! She looked great in both cool and bright winter, but I agree about bright being the best one 🌟 Thank you for myth busting! Hopefully more and more people will stop relying on old stereotypes and instead be open to whatever the drapes reveal 🙂
I am a littlebit confused, so my question here: You've said with the terracotta :"That brings that yellowness to the skin". I ve swatched some foundations on my neck and looked by the daylight in the mirror. Even the coolest one looked yellow on my skin. Than I've hold some warm colours (from yarncones), warm brown, an orange at my neck and took a picture. Than I did the same with very cool colours. I hold them together and with warm colours my skin look grey, really bad. Naturally I 've got dark ash blond, dark eyebrows and my eyes are dark icy blue. Others discribe them as a "ice lightning". I assume I am a cool winter. Could it be wrong? By the way: you'be got a lovely vibe working with your clients❤
It’s really tricky to be objective with one self. If you are still confused, I would recommend your own colour consultation. It will save you a lot of money and heartache! ☺️
It was really difficult to see her eyes, but they appeared brown (?) which provided more contrast to her skin. If she had blue or light hazel eyes, would that have changed your choices? My first impression was that she was going to be warm but agree that the brighter colors looked nice.
@@sarahryanthestylecoach Thank you for responding! I had my colors done in my 20s and I was designated a winter. I have always followed this analysis and it makes your wardrobe easier to buy for as everything goes together. I am now 61 and not choosing not to go gray but my hair colornis not as dark as I was born with. It is a medium brown that gets blonde highlights from the sun during the summer. I feel myself going softer with summer cool colors as some of the vivid winter I use to wear looks to bright.
My hair is naturally blonde. Light and bright Golden blonde as a kid. Its more of a dark blonde now with golden hues. My eyes are light blue like the sky around midday in summer. My skin is cool toned and fair. I wear pinks well. Yellow, orange and brown is a definite no. I Assume I fit into winter better but always told my hair isnt dark enough, and its got warm tones.
I don't really understand any of this but from my understanding im "supposed" to be summer (don't know which). Blonde hair (although dulled down considerably) and blue eyes. Although, my hair colour is kind of unique right now as it's been dyed and faded, resulting in a bunch of different browns lol. However, I truly believe a dark red/ Burgundy, Medium brown colour suits me best. Personally I think I love absolutely *horrible* in pink, blue, pruple and orange and it only gets worse the brighter it gets haha
I don't believe in pigeon-holing someone to a season based on their looks without having draped them. I always let the colours do the talking. Maybe a colour consultation would give you some clarity if you are looking for it :)
Maybe it’s time for me to get a professional analysis. I am goth and afraid of the result’s tbh. I have light grey eyes, very pale skin ( don’t know the undertone ) and I was a light blonde child but my natural hair is now extremely dark, my eye brows are very dark as well. But I think my brassy blonde bleached hair just throws everything off atm. I only wear black, so I am afraid to hear it doesn’t work for m. I don’t feel like myself in color at all. But I could incorporate accent colors maybe. It’s so hard….
Oh gosh... I can't really remember but I usually go for Cherry lipliner by MAC when doing a red lip and sometimes put Candy Yum Yum lipstick by MAC over it to make it a bit pinker :)
Can you please tell me, what exactly is cool summer deep? What season do peacock colors fall into? Can I find autumn, winter, spring, summer colors in outdoor scenery during every season? For example: a geranium or begonia in coral spring tones,a gerbera or petunia in summer pink/red,a hosta in summer blue green and a burdock in hunter or forest green ,a Japanese maple or other tree in purple plum tones, and cool winter white flowers - if it grows in summer is it a summer color, period? Are leaves simply a matter of yellow vs blue based summer colors? I'd very much like to use this in my garden.
I don't follow that system of cool summer deep but I imagine it's bordering Winter colours. Yes, you can find any colour from any season at any time of the year if you look hard enough! :)
@@sarahryanthestylecoach So it doesn't mean you can be any intensity in any category/sub-category rather than your intensity automatically putting you in a category. ☺️
Please can you analyse someone with grey hair ? I have blue eyes, loads of freckles and grey hair. I burn easily then go brown. It’s quite hard to work out what I should wear.
Hi Rachel, I will try to find someone willing to be on RUclips that has grey hair. But please keep in mind, this will not give you the answers you are looking for. Only a colour analysis of you will give you the correct information. Many people make this mistake of trying to compare themselves with somebody with similar features and this can lead to confusion and making expensive style mistakes!
People say I can't be Winter because I have like a more medium brown hair. But my hair color is pretty much the same as Alexis Bledel (actually I think hers is slightly lighter than mine) and she's considered a Winter. And like her, I have a pretty intense eye color that really stands out (mine is amber/hazel) and brighter colors, I feel, look nice on me.
Thank you for showing that winters can be blondes! I feel there are so many that get mistyped as summers even even though their eyes and skin color are intense/bright!
This was confusing. I felt like the warmer colors looked better on her. She has warmth in her eyebrows as well.. I agree that the brighter colors looked better on her than the muted ones. However she does not have the contrast that a winter has. I would have loved to see her try the light spring and light summer colors to compare. These subgroups seem to match all of her features.
This is my sister’s color palette. She was a black haired baby, but her hair lightened through time to a natural pale blonde. Her skin is icy beige and her eyes are navy blue. The easy assumption is that she would be a Summer, but nothing is worse on her than soft, muted pastels. Thank you for this video.
I actually do not understand why people would think a blonde can't be a winter. It even became sort of a stereotype: a blonde woman wearing bright rich colours, especially the reds. They can't all be springs, can they? So, logically, some of them are winters.
Is this her true hair colour? People say I have salt and pepper hair but if I see her my hair looks more golden. Oh I now have heard it. Now that I know her haircolour is naturally that cool. I now know I must be warm and not cool.
As far as I know yes but it is extremely rare and very impresive .Blondes are usualy springs (warm) or summer(cool). The rare blode winter has almost white platinum hair and saphire blue eyes, usualy.
If you are cool toned and bright blonde and summer colors don't look good on you.choose the bright light cool colors of winter and avoid the dark colors 🎉
Yeah so color breeze. Im blonde, blue grey eyes and found out, that deep cold colors flatter me, only black not that much. They say, im a deep soft summer with winter secondary, but away from apps most even medium summer colors had not the deepness and contrast. And i have golden hair, warm overtone, cold eyes, cold undertone. Im annoyed of the "only black hair" are winters. That means, real professional analysis falls apart
I think she's really a Light spring. She can borrow from Light Summer. Clear and bright is most important for her. Temperature is less important. Bright Spring is somewhat good because she's clear and bright and Spring is her home season. Winter is better than Summer because Springs need brightness more than Summers.
Totally! Clear and Bright is definitely most important for her so the light sub seasons are less intense therefore the light summer as a sister palette would begin to wash Amanda out :)
She is a brighter type of the Light Summer. She needs some brighter colours (not super bright) but she doesn´t tolerate stripes, she hasn´t that winterish contrast at all.
Thank you for this! 🩷💕 I’ve been dithering myself between bright winter and light summer. And because of my low contrast I settled on light summer. But I think, and this video helped me greatly, actually I’m a winter, because although my features don’t have contrast, everything is bright and not muted. The light summer colours make me grey and duller I think. Just like this lady. I’m as pale as can be with light eyes and bright white blonde hair, I’m not ashy blonde or anything subtle aha 🤍
I think that her darker eyebrows and eyelashes create a lot of contrast with her hair and skin, and that's what makes her a winter instead of summer
Thank you! And thanks for watching!
The silver calmed her skin down!!

Yes I can imagine Scandinavians would have some similar colouring :)
It's definitely a bit of a close call but the bright spring colours looked much better than the cool summer. Good call!
A very close call on this one!
The idea of mixing the two sets of sister seasons was brilliant! It was instantly crystal clear which pair better suited her - and I wasn’t quite sure before. Hope to see that again in future analyses if appropriate. Just a wow moment.
Thank you so much!
The cool summer I though made her look gray/blue and also more pale. The bright colors made her skin look even but also bright!
Yes the bright really did all the good things you would want colour to do! Beautifully bright!
It's not uncommon for cool summer to have dark hair and pale skin
Yes many people are put into seasons just based on visual appearance. I let the colours do the talking!
Honestly can’t believe you don’t have more subscribers. You will grow!

This is great! What a gorgeous hair colour…she really suits the brighter palette 😍 Have never seen a blonde winter
Doesn't she look great in her bright colours :)

Me too! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing!
It was a really interesting analysis with Amanda. I wasn't quite sure where we were going to end up! :)
I'm a winter but I love Autumn so I wear the olive with a proper scarf
Yes scarves are great way to get your best colours next to the face, good thinking!
Fascinating analysis! Would love to see a picture of her at about 20 and some before and after pictures!
Thank you! :)
I think the Kettlewell system would call her a ‘sprinter winter’ ❤ cool, icy, light but not muted and greyed like summer
House of Colour is the system, Kettlewell is just a closing brand that categories their items by season
How fun I know the bright sub seasons are the rarest. Also when you put the soft autumn colors on her at the end I thought immediately no!
I'd like to see the Light Spring and Light Summer colors to compare. I also wish we could see it closer to get more of her eyes.
Yes her eyes are quite bright and clear although not obvious from the camera angle so the Light sub seasons wouldn't quite match the chroma :)
@@sarahryanthestylecoach it would be nice if you could get a close up of the eyes so you can see what we see.
Thought she was a summer first but I’m quite shocked that her undertone was bright.. learned lots watching this episode. Never to rely on your own views but let the drapes do the talking. 😅🎉
Yes, I let the drapes do the talking....so it wasn't her undertone that was bright...the undertone can be two things, cool or warm :)
Sounds like you have a great understanding and your instinct lead you in the right direction! Enjoy your bright colours! :)
Thank you thank you THANK YOU!!!! I’ve always been positive that I’m a winter, despite having naturally blonde hair and blue eyes! My hair has darkened over the years to now being dark ash blonde, but when I was a kid it was totally white blonde. I can’t afford to get a proper consult done, but at least now I feel validated in my own theory 🎉😊
me 2!
saaaame omg these minutes are life changing styling wise!!
She is so sweet, what an interesting analysis. Enjoyed the video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Greetings from Germany
I know that kind of colour spectrum and undertone searching advice for over 30 years.
I'm so glad that that knowledge is kind of back.
Now everybody is told that you can wear anything witch is true.
But in knowing your colour palette one can build a coherent closet.
Everything fits together, even accsessories and jewellry. Good for sustainable purpose
And the things that aren't neccesarly your "fit in your palette" can be worn as some sort of fancy exception.
I' m telling this as a 50 Year old woman who was given a colour consultation and advice at the age of 19.
Since then I saved money because in knowing I'm a Winter I had no bad buyes at all in my life.
All my clothes fit together and my exception is on summer dress with a lot orange in it.
I rock this dress by doing good make up when I wear it 😉
Hope that was understandable since Englisch is a foreign laguage to me.
Lots of compliments to your work 😊
Alexandra from Bavaria Germanyno
Hi Alexandra! Thanks for watching and commenting! Yes the benefits of a colour consultation keep revealing themselves over the years. It is such a wonderful investment! Greetings from Ireland!
Your English is fantastic
Also a good example of a blond winter which popped up in my mind is Christina Aguillera, she clearly is bright, light and cool.
Wonderful analysis! I thought I saw a tinge of warmth in her eyebrows and thought for sure maybe a warm season. 😅 .. was NOT expecting Bright Winter. The bright winter/spring mix you did was incredible on her 🎉👏🏼
Hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching Gigi!
If she is bright winter shouldn't she be able to wear high contrast? If not the bright seasons then who should be able to wear high contrast?
This is super helpful! I have very similar coloring to Amanda, but my hair is naturally bright white/platinum. I can pull off super bright colors & look washed out in pastels - thanks for confirming I'm a winter!!!!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching! I work with people in Australia all the time online! Let’s make it happen!
I love these videos, they are very informative and helpful. Thank you.
So glad to read this! Thanks for watching!
Glad to hear you got some clarity on your Winter colouring! :)
Really interesting as always. To me, it's obvious that a blonde could be Winter, because a) that might be best on their skin; b) I'm not sure what else you could do with someone who is cool, bright and light-medium. But it's great to see it actually happening. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
I definitely saw brightness in her skin. And a neutral-cool undertone. I believe she’s a pure bright, between winter and spring. This was a very close one, a lot of fun to watch. i would have liked to see light summer on her, a lot of analysts would have placed her in that category.
Thank you for your content, I really enjoy watching these videos! Can I ask please, which is this system you use and where did you train? Thank you!
Thanks for watching! Yes her eyes are lovely and clear which the bright colours bring out! :)
@@sarahryanthestylecoach I suspected 😊 It was truly so amazing to see someone with so similar (although slightly different) features to me.
It is addictive to watch all those analyses, I like it ❤
Glad you enjoy it!
Could she be rather bright spring ?
This is so calming to watch and interesting thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
@sarahryanthestylecoach it's like I wish I knew where to go to have this done I'm in Medford Oregon it seems interesting
This was excellent! And a very interesting and unusual case for a winter season. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
thank you for that amazing colour analysis! So interesting, would love to see more analysis of you. Where did you buy that beautitul neckless?
That's why I don't like 4 seasons theory, because it doesn't include all the variations. It describes Winter as cool, bright and dark, but what about cool, bright and LIGHT?? The lady in the video is definitely cool, bright and light! I would even say that cool isn't the main characteristic, but rather bright, light and cool as the last one.
Wouldn’t that be a light summer? Because if they do have the characteristic of contrast, light summer shares quality with spring’s contrast
There is no such thing as being bright and light. Bright in this case meaning saturation, and saturation inherently darkens because by definition there is less white in it.
My brother has dark ash blonde hair & I'm a Spring, so I didn't think he would be a Winter. When I look at him now, it's obvious he's a Bright Winter!
Nice! 😊
@@sarahryanthestylecoach Thanks!
I love these videos! Sarah darling, what method do you use for body shape/style consultations, and what made you choose that method?
For example I got the Trinny and susannah style book and the advice for my bodyshape were not working at ALL😵💫
It said skinny jeans were the worst for my curvy bodyshape. and overall the concept was always to show a lot of cleavage (which I just don’t like, to display like free cookies, just not my cup of tea😂)
I found kibbe to be less ”corrective” then the fruitsystem..but since sooo many interpretate him, as always when too many chefs cook a soup it gets confusing😅
Thank you for this! Very helpful!
Thanks for watching. Glad you found it helpful!
Very interesting!
I think so too!
So great to see a colour analysis of a blonde winter! She looked great in both cool and bright winter, but I agree about bright being the best one 🌟
Thank you for myth busting! Hopefully more and more people will stop relying on old stereotypes and instead be open to whatever the drapes reveal 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, I like to let the drapes do the talking :)
Dear Sarah, thanks for new video, I love it ❤🎉
You're so welcome Katyusito! Thanks for coming back!
you got this one correct
I think she is a bright spring. Autumn didn't look good. I thought winter was too vivid. Can you change seasons as you get older?
There is a chance you might change season if you lose your chroma eg grey hair, skin loses it's brightness etc but your undertone will not change :)
Yep sign up and let’s see what we find!
Sarah what lipstick are you wearing here please? I love it!! 😍 I’m a Bright Winter. 😊
Oh gosh... I can't really remember but I usually go for Cherry lipliner by MAC when doing a red lip and sometimes put Candy Yum Yum lipstick by MAC over it to make it a bit pinker :)
@@sarahryanthestylecoach ok my lovely, thank you. I’ll look out for that liner. 😉👍🏾
I like it! how do you do it online without a set of fabrics?
Thank you. If you look back in my videos you will see an example of an online analysis :)
You are so welcome!🤗
This was confusing. I felt like the warmer colors looked better on her. She has warmth in her eyebrows as well.. I agree that the brighter colors looked better on her than the muted ones. However she does not have the contrast that a winter has. I would have loved to see her try the light spring and light summer colors to compare. These subgroups seem to match all of her features.
In the Light sub groups we would lose some of the chroma in the colours which she needed :)
Are the two dark seasons sister seasons even though they are opposite on the wheel?
Exactly, the fact that they are opposite is just down to my design than anything else :)
Can people with almost black hair and eye be soft summer?
I never say never. I would want to see the drapes on them and let them do the deciding ☺️
💯
She has a calm energy, I feel the softer colors match her energy better.
Wow you’d think at first glance she would be a summer
Yes, exactly but the softer colours really didn't bring much life to her features.
Hosen do you define "winter"? Has it to be dark? Or just bright and cool?
Is she a natural blonde? And if not would the result be different if she had her natural hair colour✨
Yes it was confirmed halfway the video
Yes, as I mentioned in the video, Amanda is a natural blonde. She has never coloured her hair.
Amanda is such a darling🥰🥰
She really is wonderful! :)
YES
Is this her true hair colour? People say I have salt and pepper hair but if I see her my hair looks more golden. Oh I now have heard it. Now that I know her haircolour is naturally that cool. I now know I must be warm and not cool.
Thanks for watching! :)
isn't this done on a bare face usually? She wears heavy concealer and her brows are tinted.
My client is not wearing concealer
I wonder what Africans with blonde would categorize as in color analysis...
That would be interesting :)
I don’t know… I feel like she looks better in muted colors but that’s just me.
That's cool :)
Her 'essence' might be more thin stripes than thick...
Thanks for sharing!!
I think Elle Fanning is a good example of a Blond Winter
She ist a Summer. The Wintercolors are to much. I see the Colors, not the Woman.
They didn't look right against her hair and her eyes :)
She is a brighter type of the Light Summer. She needs some brighter colours (not super bright) but she doesn´t tolerate stripes, she hasn´t that winterish contrast at all.
That is old thinking that cool + blonde= summer. That doesn't take into account the chrome or intensity of the coloring.
Thanks for watching!
Lovely video and explanation on bright winters, thanks🙌🏻🩷❄️
Glad you liked it!☺️💕
