@@briceidabanks4284 Mel passed away unexpectedly in 2021, I think they said it was related to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome but I don’t know that for sure.

Apologies if someone already commented on this - but sometimes palettes are a different formula for stability. The packaging of the palette is different than the single (open/cardboard) versus a sealed container. So they need a different formula for stability/life of the product. That's sometimes the reason the palette seems different than the single, even when a palette has the same shade as a single. Might not be the case here of course.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this eye look. I'm loving this palette a lot. These are some of my favorite colors and you never see them in palettes. GORGEOUS!!!
I love the look! I wouldn't buy the palette though. I think for the price point, it should deliver 😏

Beautiful look,that green looks so bomb,I never tried anything from Melt cosmetics,but yes I notice how powdery is,companies should be consistent with their formulas,why change it

Your review on this palette was the one I was most excited about! I initially really wanted this, but I realized it was only the greens I was interested in and if I waited a few months some of my favorite indie makeup brands would probably dupe the greens- and do it better, sounds like! It would be awesome if you posted the dupes you found on IG, btw, to give me a head start!

I just ordered this yesterday after debating for a while. Praying it works well for me like I’ve seen others raving..so far this is the first I’ve seen someone say it isn’t that great..fingers crossed. Rawbeautykristi says it’s her favorite palette ever so i hope it blends easily for me. I stopped wearing eyeshadow for a few years and need to get the hang of it again

This eye look is so gorgeous
I absolutely LOVE how this look turned out! Stunning work! The colors are so unique! I also agree Gemini (the specific shadow) was a bit trickier to work with. I used a glitter glue/sticky base for that one, and it helped. Besides that, I am really enjoying the palette so far. 💕

Thanks for this video! I got an email today about this palette being restocked, but after seeing you apply it and your honest review, I don’t think I’ll be purchasing it! $70+ is quite a lot for a palette that requires extra effort. Your look came out stunning though!♥️♥️

The colors are really different with the yellow base.... almost olive drab and so unique but seriously with what you paid it should jump out of the palette and blend itself. Not sure but I’ll wait and think on this. So helpful.You’re the best!
I’m like you, the shade Gemini is a Dud...but I’m willing to work with the other shades a bit harder because they are soooo unique! Mustard yellow and greens are my favorite!
I love the color selection of this palette, not many are offering greens. I have Coloured Raine's mini palette in Rust & Smokeshow & just recently bought 4 single shadows which gives me something very close to this for much less $$ since I bought the palettes for half off during xmas. CR foiled / shimmer shadows are gorgeous & dont flake & their matte shades are pigmented & blendable. Right now my favorite eyeshadow brand. You might like them.
I totally agree with your review ! I feel like the Gemini palette is kind of difficult to work with I wish it was the same as the stacks !

Love that look on you! When I first saw the palette, I was all over it, but really wanted it just for the green shades, so I couldn't quite justify the cost. Then I saw that Sydney Grace posted some close colors on her Instagram so I went for those instead. They should be here any day now! This palette is certainly unique and beautiful, but I don't feel it is a must have. I will see if I can recreate your look with my SG shadows once they get here.

Loving the colors of the palette
I missed out on this palette. I love the greens in it and the yellow/gold's. It's sad that I missed it. I have purchased the Hasina 2 palette though for the greens and I am hoping I'll be as pleased with it as I thought I would have been with this one. I wish I could get my hands on one, but sadly, there are none to be had. :( Love the video and I LOVE the eye look you did.

I’ve been waiting for this review. I’m so excited🎉☺️. Loved the eye demo. Also thought it was interesting that you think the natural hair brushes worked well and Michele Wang prefers synthetic for this palette. I am a little sad that you, Kelsee and Michele all agree that this formula isn’t as good as the stacks. I absolutely love the stacks🙁. Maybe they’ll improve the formula on the next release that they’re teasing🤔. Anyway absolutely loved the video can’t wait for the next one.
I dunno...they are so close together that I can't see that they would have changed a formula and if they did...to me, that would suggest that they knew the Gemini wasn't that great and the released it anyway. SO..I doubt it lol :)

Wow, that color scheme is gorgeous, right up my alley with the warm greens. I could never get on board with the pink/red/super orange palettes; they look horrible on me. But I often buy singles or palettes in search of beautiful greens. I hope they bring in more inventory.
Bestany FYI, Sydney Grace has dupes/ near dupes of nearly all of the shades & their quality is fabulous. The comparisons of the melt palette & their single shades are on their IG.
