Fiona Apple - I Know (live @Largo) is an exceptional live performance. It's shot in black and white focused on her profile live on stage. It's a high quality recording so you really get to experience her singing live. I've lost count of how many times I've watched that particular performance.
The thing about Fiona is that she has control of everything she does. She has stage fright and she is a perfectionist. Her performances are an intense extension of who she is, and they are always worth it. Totally unique. Thank you for giving her some appreciation.
Just randomly ended up here because of the song, but I gotta give you props for not just begging for subscriber’s , and imploring people to actually look at your stuff and see what you’re about.
One of my favorite live performances of hers and everything you said is true. So happy that you understand and appreciate that live element...it really comes to life in her performances.
I really like Fiona, she is super unique & while her music all has a similar vibe & chord familiarity, she is still fun to watch & see perform. I like that she isnt a disappointment live, a lot of musicians & bands are, but she is worth seeing & that makes her special. I love Criminal & Dull Tool .. my fave’s from Her... 🖤🎹
Man.... I'm such a huge fan of Fiona's, and she really puts it all out there for her live performances. This version has so much background noise though. And I know you said not to whine about the studio version... but this is a really unconventional song and it loses a lot due to the subpar recording. The album version is so powerful and has such great highs and lows, whereas the noise in this one takes something away. Even if you just listen to it on your own time and off camera... check out the album version. Actually, just check out the entire thing as it's positively brilliant.
@@marileecornelius1777 I hope it does. And I do love hearing her live. Her talent is undeniable. The extra noise just bothers me in this one. That's okay though... spread the joy.
I really enjoyed your take on this live version, and I'm definitely biased, but it was nice to see someone that appreciated the live performance aspect . I love most all of Fiona's music. Certainly everything from the first three records and 90% of her last effort. But vocal performance alone of "I know" live at Largo is just intense and amazing. ruclips.net/video/gBiR2SR8Okc/видео.html
Check out Fiona Apple "Anything We Want" live from SXSW. Also check out these two of the best performances I've ever seen: Damien Rice and Cantus Domus, "It Takes A Lot to Know a Man" And Snarky Puppy "Lingus" live from (We Like It Here)
Hi MSM... just wanna steal your big audience... You are a bf soul, and you inspired me to be a better human being, and a better Christian... This was YOUR inspiration Just enjoyed every reaction you did... But I also fell in love with a very poor girl from the Phillipines... She always denied me helping her financially bc she said it was Gods meaning of life for her... But she also has 3 kids Two boys, 8 and eleven, and a girl, 13... The girl desperately wanted a smartphone and those boys a computer so they could play games... I had a 5 year old laptop lying around and a two year old phone... so I send it to them... those were the first presents in their life... they walk back and forth to school 6 hours a day... They live on 400 dollars a month.... With 8 poeple... and we got so much older shit lying around... so my goal for 2020 is to collect 1,000 old phones and 500 old laptops to help out the poorest kids... God Bless You Man! rjcraane@gmail.com ... Share please!
Hey Modern Renaissance Man! If you are taking suggestions, may I suggest London Grammar: Sights (Live Glastonbury Festival 2017) for you to react to. I think you may enjoy her voice. Also London Grammar: Nightcall (Live at Lowlands 2017). Hope it's okay to suggest someone else, no disrespect to Fiona Apple, I just don't know her music.
I gave this one a try. Thought it was middle of road. Didn't really like it. A live performance I recommend strongly is "Things I Wish I Said" by Rodney Crowell. It was written about his last meeting with his father before he passed. Find the video that says VEVO on it and consider adding it to the bingo ball. Thanks.

I like the odd cadences she sings in, she has an odd style and I love a unique singer!
Love Fiona! Such an amazing talent.
I always love her lyrics. She is a favorite of mine.

It's not a great recording sure but it doesn't really matter, her talent still comes through full force. I think that's the point.

My first time viewing this and I'm almost concerned with her appearance having flashbacks back to Karen Carpenter if you know what I'm talking about
