I'm so happy that the 'Grab Bag' is back online again. All my prayers are going to the guy who has made the 'old' Grab Bag. I wish him a quick recovery from his illness. Boy, get back on your feet quickly. 🙏🏻
The new "postage stamp" format is awesome. I love trains, especially old steamies. We have rail fanned Big Boy a couple of times in Southern California, it is truly an amazingly gorgeous engine.
@@VirtualRailfan please give my best to Mr. Peach. I've prayed for him to get better. "For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord..." (Jeremiah 30 :17) "... the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes, we are healed." (Isaiah 53: 5)
@@VirtualRailfan That is great to hear about the team stepping up. May he recover quickly. Did not even know something happened to him. 🙏 As always thank you for a great compilation. The NKP Heritage unit brings back memories of a railfan friend of mine who passed away several years ago. He grew up on the NKP. He passed away peacefully. He will be missed. Here's to you, Sergeant Richard Turner (Sarge). He retired from the Harlingen Police Department. Good man and fellow model railroader.
Good to see this. I'm surprised there isn't someone else who can do Grab Bags than Joe. I know this is an all-volunteer operation but still I would expect there to be a backup person.
Hello and welcome back ,Ben a while. I like the new format very nicely done. A bit confused at first but I cool with it now. Great to see that big girl again, super cool. Keep up the great vids.
Welcome Back Grab Bag ! SWC 3 letting off A lot of Chug and Fire And Brimstone! Big Boy Said I have to let off some Steam 😂😂😂! Foxy said I got my eyes on you 😂
I'm happy to see a grab bag again. I was hoping by the regular guy, but I see that isn't the case. I'm hoping he's back on his feet soon. I like the new format 👍
I've missed these Grab Bags, and this one was a bright spot in a rather-dark day. You guys did a super job--thank you! I enjoyed the Book of the Room at Kingsley, the LORAM grinding away, the canid (fox I think) in OKC, and the use of the multi-cams to switch between shots, and of course any day with Big Boy in it has to be special. Please let Joe Peach know how much he is missed and how many of us are pulling for him to feel better every day!💐
Could not understand what happened to grab bag, some medical issues in the house had our schedules rearranged and then . . .no LaGrange chaos to swoon over. These videos are a lifeline for those of us racing to 90 years, hope they continue.
Nice team work! Love the transitions. Yes, a little fast, but stylish and cool! Sure hope Joe is doing better. If ya need another editor to put these together…just ask!
Read the comments before viewing and, I have to say, the transitioning doesn't bother me.* I was dreading something really awful and distracting. Sorry to hear about Mr Peach; hope he is all better soon. Love the birdies in Fort Madison, accompanying those waving goofballs! *Though I do prefer Mr. Peach's style!😊
Love a good grab bag. Thanks VRF! Also what happened to the creator? I really hope they are okay.. I do want to ask, are there any new cameras coming up? If so, what state is next to cover?
Ok, the transitions between clips is new…. Just my humble opinion, please don’t use it for every clip transition…. Going to give someone a seizure lol….
@@Trainsallover There is no rule on how many days can be included in a Grab Bag. They are normally 2-3 days because that is the usual time between them.
gosh I miss the grab bag, I'm glad the team stepped up, keep up the good work and lets wish Joe peach a healthy recovery

I agree! I like how each clip flashes up
I don’t care for it. Reminds me too much of Transformers Prime.
I have seriously missed the Grab bags. Kudos to those who have stepped up to fill the gap!
Grab bag recovering and get well soon joe ❤
thanks for bringing the grab bags back. hope Joe is getting better
Hope this means the creator is feeling better ❤
He is still recovering.. the team stepped up to create this video..

Thanks for Grab Bag. Enjoying see the Big Boy again.
Took the day off to see big boy roll into Sterling. The sound of this dude miles out gave me chills. ❤
Big Boy has the most beautiful voice!
Oh man, 11:23 onward, that long, mournful steam whistle... just amazing.
Thanks for refreshing view so different 😊
The 4014 so wow wow
The Big Boy is a beautiful steam locomotive
The Rochelle crowd needed a steam bath.
Yes! The grab bags are back! I missed the grab bags.
Praise the Lord! The grab bag is back! And it's got Big Boy 4014! 😄🎉🇺🇲
It's so good to see the grab bag come back! Thanks for your efforts VRF.
Big Boy always wows me😮
UP Big Boy whistle shows are amazing 👍
Rochelle people, clapping on Bigboy’s departure. Just like they did in the old days of movie theaters!
Thanks to all you volunteers.
That was one beautiful fox at the end! 🥰
Welcome back Grab Bag! This is awesome.
Yay, thank you guys for this 'interim' Grab Bag! Hoping to see Joe appear as a waver sometime, once he's well enough to travel again.
Yess The Big Boy Yess 💙💛❤️💜✨✨
Thank you, for the view of SD70MAC 9581 at Burlington.
Thanks been missing you
Here's to Joe getting better! Thank you to the staff filling in!

I saw 4014 in Rochelle in person
Get well soon Joe
It's VR Grab Bag Monday and I'm ready for some train action
have a wonderful Monday everyone thank you.🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲
@8:14 noted before: paint an Orange Blossom on the Seaboard tribute engine
Excellent catch, I like them, they're awesome, @Virtual Railfan, thank you very much and have a nice day and night.
Great shots!!
I'm happy to see a grab bag again. I was hoping by the regular guy, but I see that isn't the case. I'm hoping he's back on his feet soon.
I like the new format 👍
It’s one thing to see flareups from old locos on the Class 1’s but quite another to see a flareup on an Amtrak loco.
Then you have not been paying attention to the P40/42s for the last 30 years. Almost a regular feature, Amtrak "Crispy Critters".
it's good to see the grab bags back on VRF
That new grab bag video scroll thing, I approve!
I like the new set up
Glad the grab bag is back hope your feeling better
Glad you’re back. Hope you’re feeling better!👍 We missed the Grab Bags!
Great Grab Bag, hope to see more‼️😊
😮 Big Boy loved Thanks VRF❤
*Awesome Video*
Thanks for the rolling film transitions. It makes it easie to know when new video is coming.
Cam to cam creative too

Awesome Grab bag video 🚅🚂👍🚃
I love your videos
Hope joe is feeling better
I'm glad to see the GRAB BAG back. Please continue with the program.
Interesting is a P42 in the Conrail design from Metro North. The Loram rail grinder, very nicely filmed. And the highlight of the BIGBOY 4014
Tanks where fun 😊💯
That Was Awesome
Glad you are doing better and great grab bag as always
Welcome back Grab Bag
Time to get off that Amtrak in fort Madison. Lol

Unless I get up very early, drive @30 miles, I will miss the big guy leave Texarcana 😢
Nice transitions.
Nah. Don't like them . Too gimmicky. Jump cuts or crossfades best. They're fine for fast action sporting events but not train watching.
Ao i couldn't help vut botice that the thunderbolt that used to be next to New York Central 3001 has been replaced with a T-128 :(

At 21:40, what does the special paint on those two units denote?
wheres the fort worth cleanup u said youll try to include in last grab bag
Glad the Grab Bag is back but please don’t keep this new transition in between the different cameras. Yuck. It gives me a headache.
Amen to that!
I agree

Joe Peach is dealing with some health issues.
@@brw9100 OH no! That stinks. I feel bad for him and his family, I hope he can live and see another day.
What happened to Joe?
Health issues
I have always liked the Grab Bag. Can’t watch this at all, it sets off my vertigo!
Not crazy about the new effect in between segments, very distracting for 75 year old eyes. That said it is really good to see a new grab bag! Thanks!
I missed grab bag but I do not like the edit format here with the "flipping film."
First
Good to see the Grab Baag. But I am not a fan of the multi screen transition. It is distracting.
Don’t keep the new transition from cameras 🤮
Ok, the transitions between clips is new…. Just my humble opinion, please don’t use it for every clip transition…. Going to give someone a seizure lol….
Pls stop these clips should only be from the 14th and 15th and 16th not the 10th 9th
I’ll take them anytime!!!
Considering it's been over 2 weeks since the last Grab Bag I don't see a problem with reaching back a few extra days.
@@brw9100 but grab bags are only 3 days of trains
@@Trainsallover There is no rule on how many days can be included in a Grab Bag. They are normally 2-3 days because that is the usual time between them.
@@VirtualRailfan okay sorry
1:50 Never seen anything quite like that before.
At 3:21 on the OKC cam, what were they hosing down?
Probably a small fire caused by the rail grinder
@@yyzeddIt was.
Thanks VR. Something different, thought Joe was on vacation. Hope he gets to feeling better soon.
