That’s after a build starts. Build slots depend on the dealers availability. Currently I have build slots 12 weeks out plus 4 weeks to build deliver and prep. It’s actually about 4 months.
Nice truck. But those tanks could’ve been pushed forward at the plant, to get rid of those gaps between them. Other thing is, those tank steps on driver side, absent on the passenger which looks awkward. Could’ve been spec’d with a little more attention to detail.
they are a really nice truck. its what my boss orders currently..... too bad the most recent trucks he has been getting are equipped with eaton ultrashift junk. i got lucky and got a 2017 T880 day cab with the best transmission ever made for heavy trucks, the eaton 18 speed manual. some of the older trucks we have are t660, and i really like the looks of this allot better.

I just bought one of these, and I use it as my daily driver. Sometimes we pull a trailer, but mostly just use it to get to and from work, take kids to sports, and pickup groceries. Great fuel economy.
Hi Andy. Please let me know the paint code for this truck. I'm almost done setting up my truck thanks to your informative video. This color is very, very cool but the color chart has over 60,000 options. Next week i will sing up a paper work for my truck ;)
Sure hope some one will put fenders in front of the tandems. Rocks from those tires are gonna mess the sides of those fuel tanks. Sharp looking truck!!! Thanks for posting this video.
Beautiful truck except for the anemic MX13. We run them with Super B’s and though I really like the truck, I dislike that engine. Would love the truck with Cummins X15!
@@AndyTheKenworthGuy think some are trying to compare 13 liter to a 15 liter, but you really can't. Guess if you want high power and less fuel economy than go with the X15. If you want decent power and pretty good fuel economy than the MX 13 will be the option. I'd like to see someone do a comparison all the manufacturers engines that fall into the 13 liter category and see whichever performs the best.
I should clarify...I mean anemic for pulling Super B's in hills. I imagine the MX13 would be pretty good power and fuel for 5/6 axle. I realize that you can't directly compare 13 to 15 liter. I would still argue that 15 liter would be preferable to the 13 for super B regardless of the fuel difference. I am loosing fuel economy with the mx 13 with more downshifting to pull grades.
I do sell a few customers MX13 engines for hauling super b. Not ideal for going over the Rockies though. Sticking to the prairies with minimal grades you would be ok.
Why spec a truck without the auxiliary bunk heater when it can be ordered from factory? Must be the cheapest way then install it afterwards. Otherwise a gorgeous truck!
Hi Magnus. The truck has a bunk a/c and heater but not one that runs with the truck off. Some customers don’t want one, others might transfer off a trade or some what an apu. If we order without it gives the customer options. Thanks for watching

How much smaller is the cab compared to the 680 cab? Unfortunately that’s what our company ordered me and with the smaller mid roof sleeper. I’m not sure what they call it, a 60 or 62 in sleeper? Im already cringing because I think they ordered it with that crappy small paccar 11 liter engine. Who the hell orders 11 liter engines when your pulling tankers! hey Todd! The three sleeper sizes offered are 40” 52” or 76” mid roof sleepers on the t880. The t680 has the tall sleeper too. I sold one with the 52” a while back and did a video. Check it out and you can see the size.
