    Did not like hearing "That's been debunked" when Steve said your phone listens to you. The only thing big tech companies care about is invading your privacy to farm your data for targeted ads. Anyone that has had a random conversation has then been served those products, there isn't some 'subconscious intention' that was going to lead to those ads being served. It listens and targets

      Anyone who disagrees, talk about a specific product all day around your phone, and you’ll be surprised when it pops up all over as ads when using social media and internet on that phone. The mic is always on.

    Oil companies pay “out of state” workers to travel. Say I work in S Dakota but I work for a oil company in Louisiana. Since some states have no state tax, those workers aren’t accounted for. Most oil field guys comes from Texas - Florida. That’s what we do. We learn in high school how to weld. We also learn that 40 hours a week does NOT pay the bills.
    Love the show!

    • @BG-bx4ey
      @BG-bx4ey 21 день назад

      I work 20 hours a week and it pays the bills because my bills are water, power, food, etc. Not new car, massive house, iphone 28, name brand crap, etc.
      My wife and I work way less than the national average , and earn less, but we have more money, more property, more vehicles, more toys, better food, more time for eachother and our kids, more savings and retirement savings, etc than people who work more and make twice what we make. America is broken, not broke.

    Female redfish are typically bigger because they grow faster but any red fish over 35 in is typically a male. Bull terminology is used regardless of sex

  • @billybob8228
    @billybob8228 26 дней назад

    And we yall talk about the hordes of smaller Reds under the edges or grass lines, we refer to those as Rat Reds. Tons of smaller male reds that all come in for the Fall mating season. Coincides with the fall mullet run. Rats typically achool together while the Bulls will be in groups of 1 to 3.

    There is a ling cod rule in Alaska that if the fish is over 55" and you are non resident , it is legal to keep but that is your one fish for the year. I caught on that was 50" and 55lbs. I had to put it back. It was a lot of work to get that sob to the boat. I have phots to prove it too.

    If a state can’t make it on his residence price of tags licenses etc. and they have to bring in outside state money. Maybe they have too much bureaucracy in your state. I love hunting out of state. But when I run into a guy that lives in Gillette Wyoming, 40 miles from where I’m hunting and he doesn’t have the tag. That’s a problem for the state and him.

    Here in California we can go to other states and hunt mountain lions ....but we are not allowed to bring any part of the lion into the state.. so for me there is reason to go hunt as I can't use (eat) or anything else with the animal.😢😢😢

    Its 12 hr days that does it. You only need to work 3 days out of 7 and 4 days the next week and you actually end up with 8 hrs of overtime (over 40hrs) calculated on a two week basis is how we do it. That's baseline tho, a typical week is 60 hrs. Longest I worked was 32 12 hr days, one day off, only so i was able to switch from night shift to day shift and then another 36 days, then 84 days straight. 12 hr days. I always say that they should not calculate it on two weeks bc the clock shouldn't reset if I didnt take a day off. I should be in over-overtime, and then over-over-over time. Working 12 hr days, you can work fulltime and be off for 6 months. But you could also make a heck of a lot of overtime, but ot isn't even worth it over 16 hrs. Government takes nearly everything after that. Its absolutely horrible and disgusting.

It helps to have a "guide" anyways. If i came to montana i would love cal to be the one leading the charge and be thankful for the knowledge i was about to gain.

    As a Canadian I probably have no business commenting on your politics. I watch all of your podcasts with enthusiasm until you rail on about Trump being right about hunting and fishing and the economy and Harris being wrong about everything. Give it a rest and talk to each side with an open mind. As an outsider I see the lies and propaganda from both sides. The same bullshit has crept into our politics here. It is time for the elected and the public to do what is best for your country and mine.

    • @chickenfishhybrid44
      @chickenfishhybrid44 26 дней назад

      You were right. You have no business. I think theres a lot of foreigners out there who get the impression that they have a much better understanding of the US and its politics than they actually do. I assume this is from being constantly bombarded with US culture via things like music, movies, news, etc. Europeans are some of the worst for this. Canadians being so close generally understand better, but a similar dynamic can apply.
