What is the difference between pattern feature and pattern geometry?

Obviously a feature pattern patterns the feature i.e. an extrude or revolve. A geometry pattern patterns i.e. a solid or a surface.

Hi, not quite ;) sorry, such an insert is called a bit it could be one for drilling or screwing. At least over here in germany.

By the way, I ´ve got a drawing for this exercise - it has been named "drillbit" and it is not from germany. A ruler would be something different in germany as well ;)

LOL. Rule..12 inches= 1 foot.
Ruler= The guy that decided that 12 inches = 1 foot.
In other words, the ruler is the guy that makes the rules. Shall we overthrow the ruler? In america our ruler is trump and he is not intelligent enough to have any business making rules.
The nice thing about NX is that you can update your prints ;)
