Yay! You are alive and your indomitable spirits appear to be thriving. I hold you in gratitude and wish you the best. Thanks for the spoon. It arrived safely and I put it right to work. It has established a proper place in my kitchen. Pleasing to the hand and eye.
Yay ! a new video! I binge watched all your other videos, lol. I wish we had some snow, here in NC we have rain, lots of rain you can't sleigh ride in the mud! You guys are truly an inspiration and as a hobby blacksmith I am looking forward to some more forging videos. Keep up the awesome work!
I know you guys don't have a lot of money, but you do have a wealth of character and companionship that I admire and is worth so much more than absolutely any amount of money. I am very glad you are all healthy and good and able to keep your business going , I have a feeling you will see much success.
Hi its great to see inspirational people showing haw a great relationship and get up and go can be so amazing thanks from philip from Birmingham United Kingdom 🇬🇧
Just want to say I am enjoying you video's very much. I can only imagine it can be hard to put yourself out there like that. One tip I have found helpful over the years is when toting water, if you put a plastic bag in the bucket and fill it then you can tie the top when it's full. That way you can carry it with out it sloshing all over you. Fun day letting the little kid we all have in us come out to play.
Hi from a quite warm end of summer in South Africa. Great to see you are doing well, staying positive and smiling. If the shipping wasn't so atrocious expensive I would have loved to order a kuksa from you. Be Blessed and keep the videos coming. I appreciate you.
Thanks for the update. I was wondering what happened to you two. A few days ago the temperature here was the same in Celsius and Fahrenheit -40. A little too cool for sledding. Spent the day writing and in the woodshop.
I was so happy when I saw you all had a new video.I hollered in the other end of the house to my wife.So missed you all. Thanks for sharing.I So enjoy you two.
I love this channel, always a great music selection. You should know by now to disregard all negative comments, the internet is populated by self loathing basement dwellers that find remoteness and anonymity gives them the courage to be unkind.
I feel you on the frozen water. Been hauling water to the cow and horses for a month now. Oh well spring will come even to Canada.... eventually. Thanks for taking the time to share your day.
Hey! My day was sad, snow , snow and gold in Finland -30 i have to wear the '' Long Johns '' and i hate that itchy wool! But then i saw you 2 and this plastic '' Paella pan '' we call that Widow maker. Put straw in plastic bag its more safety. Now i feel fine, because l saw you two in snow games, thank you! Spring comes soon and summer, and i love to see your new videos. Blacksmith for Finland.
I love this channel. I love your scrappy work ethic. I predict that you will at some point make more money from RUclips than you make from Etsy. You need to start a Patreon account. As a fellow YTer I make the bulk of my income from Patreon supporters. They believe in what I'm doing as most of your viewers do for you. I'm guessing that you haven't gone down this road yet because you are proud of being able to make in on your own. Well stay proud. You've certainly proven your grit. I don't want a bowl or an adze. I want to see you get your Blacksmith shop up and running. I would pay you money to see that. So, give me a Patreon link and I'll give you $100 and hopefully see that shop happen faster. I'm excited to see what you can achieve.

Good to see you back, you live in a beautiful place , cant wait to see your blacksmith shop finished. Just saying hey from Denmark (I am a blacksmith to.
Wonderful video Brother and Sister 👍💕🍻. The song's are reminiscent of John Denver; to me❤. Yall truly had a great day. Your Wife's Laugh had me laughing wonderful! Congratulations on 10 G. The straw is a great insulator. Considering it myself. You're welcome for the comments. And I agree! We must have contact and community support with our fellow Man and Woman. Very important to our health: mental and physical. And yes spiritual too. Loving Your content Guy's 💕👍😁. Have a Blessed day my new Friends.
Thank You for all your content and high quality you share. Cute couple, great location, awesome work. Blessing and best wishes from Europe. Congrats to 10k!
Good to see you folks again! Hope you are faring well during this frigid time. We [down here in Texas got hit pretty hard,} but "We're Pressing On!" We look forward to more videos from you. Blessings. 🤠
What part of NWA are you in? I'm very close to you guys...reason I ask is have you ever considered teaching blacksmithing? I have reached out to a couple sites with no real response.
Hi again,, i must say, you both have beautiful souls, i've been offline for several months, i was actually laid off work,, and it was sort of a blessing.. i walked away from my 400,000.00 house, (left the house for my niece to live in for 9 months, with the bills all paid) and i went to live in a friends Walk In cabin,, it's literally a pathway into the middle of nowhere that's just over two hours off a 4 wheeler trail, i hiked in all my gear, all my food, supplies, hand tools, etc, several trips yes,, and i made that my home during the pandemic,, best way to clear your mind, is to disappear into nature and let her lead your way.. i've missed watching your channel most out of all the tv shows and online stuff and so on,, i have thought of you both many many times, it's your simple ways that guided my day to day chores and tasks, anyways,, i'm glad you are both doing well and still videoing your day's experiences, and i'm glad i'm able to check in on your postings once again,,, tysm,, take great care,, Robert..
That sounds like a wonderful experience. Sometimes getting away from it all and having time to clear your mind is needed. And as the great ocean sailer Bernard Moitessier would say ‘ learn to focus on only the essentials.” We are glad you are doing well! Thank you for sharing tour experience and thank you for your interaction.
I don't know if it's something you'd want to do, but if you want to keep getting out some content even when you are just working on forging and carving, I think an Instagram account would work great to show some little things that aren't big enough to make it into a video. You could do little pictures of what you made, etc. Also if you're thinking about it just from a business stand point, I think it's a great way to bring more people to your etsy page!
Very sweet, the both of you. Large construction superintendent here, but carving, furniture making, and nature are my heart treasures. Thanks for what you share.
Congrats on 10k, we here in the low country of South Carolina, don't have snow, but we have gotten about 6 inches of rain in about a week and a half, but anyway stay warm!!
Very very good thank you for sharing happiness. Here in Holland the snow has gone. But last summer I did make slay great to take my son to school on. Simple to make and fun
Just came across your channel and have binge watched some videos love your way of life..I too homestead in upstate new york. You should build a wooden toboggan steam bend the front and wax the bottom and you'll have a very nice sled for snow days! Very jealous of your spring! I've been down to the ozarks and loved the springs down there some of the biggest in the country I understand.anyways your very lucky and I too had to carry water to our house today.looking forward to seeing your channel grow you two are a great couple!
Brings back memories, when we first got married 37 yrs ago we didnt have a well for 2 yrs, so we hauled water from an artesion well a 1/4 mile away. Hot summer and freezing winter. Keeps one humble and you learn about what you really need in life. People thought we were crazy but we've stayed the course and still live frugally. Love your videos, keep them coming. I still end up in my unheated wood shop making things to get by. Peace and Blessings.
I first found you with your Hard days work for your tractor. I watched all your other videos. You both do a beautiful job with them. I’m happy you’re still posting videos. Please keep them coming when you can.
Great to see a new video! Can't wait to see spring projects you have coming up. Our snow will probably be gone in a couple days. Gonna be in the 50s. Hey guys we used an aluminum grain scoop for a long time. Always had some on the farm.
Please don't pull a Sonny Bono!!!!!! Love you guys! Got to thinking...you two probably aren't old enough to know who Sonny Bono is...or how he died...tragically...nevermind...love you guys!
Hi from Oxford, England! I love your channel and have been checking back regularly for the past month or so because your vids are so beautifully filmed, and the music really fills a place in my heart and mind that no other does. My parter and I are currently working towards a homestead, which will include self-sustainability and a wildlife project. We’re not there yet, but you guys are an inspiration. A Ford 8N is also part of the dream (for me, at least!). Maybe I’ll even brew my own fuel! ;) I guessed you guys were busy, and obviously still are, so no need to respond. I’m using these strange times to develop my woodworking, engineering & metalwork skills. It feels like my purpose, to choose a new project and see it to completion. I built a workshop that’s basically a practice for a house, You guys really helped with all these things. Love from across the pond. x
Thank you both for sharing i really enjoy watching you both takes me bake to when i was a child growing up no hydro no running water wood for heat witch i still do just love the simple but not so simple way of life !!! GLAD TO KNOW YOU ARE OK
Thanks for the video. Here in Manitoba Canada we got the privilege of -40 for almost a week straight. And I’m not exaggerating when I say -40, and that’s before the windchill 🥶. If you’re thinking about doing another carving video that would be awesome. Thanks again! Jon

Had a good laugh. The kid in you never disappears. Hear you're getting it bad state side. Here in Scotland snow rarely lasts a day or two. Stay safe and warm.
I am glad to see you , I too had been wondering on your situation , weird world now days . Your videos have a healing property to them ,takes me back to our early years of marriage , 40 yrs. ago . Our three sons were quite adept at ways to bust up themselves and each others! They used large feed sacks stuffed with grass hay . We don't have rocks and trees , just yucca plants , so ski goggles were mandatory ! Then came pulling each other behind horses ,on a scoop shovel . They are adults now but I won't call them grownups yet. They are still wildlings , they ruined another scoop shovel last week ! I do enjoy a look into a lifestyle I miss so much , I built selfbows and made knives . I am still doing some of my trade as hobbies but the farming takes so much time. My sons are so much better from the skills they learned young , working and creating with your hands completes your being . Thank you so very much , your happiness is so healing.
Thank you for writing such a nice comment. And sharing those wonderful memories with us. We love reading comments like this but we also love that other people can read them as well. Anyways thanks for your interaction we really appreciate that

I have been playing catch up on your videos. I love your music choices and content. How many acres do you have? I am curious where you source your steel for forging. Thanks for sharing?
We live on 80 acres. We bought this place 10 years ago my brother and sisters and parents and I. Which has proved to be a really good decision. Any of the mild steel that we use for door hinges handles hooks etc. we buy from the steelyard. And any of the steel we use for tool making such as hatchets adzes and chisels etc. we get from the scrap yard. Anyways thank you for your positive feedback and your interactioni
The house really looks incredible! You've got a lot done this past year. You started from nothing and now have a business, a house, and more. I truly admire your accomplishments.
I believe we got more snow on this side of the state but you had the lower temps if I read that thermometer right.I thought I saw something like negative 12. I'm gonna have to go back and look at that again. Ah went back and checked, I was looking at the C side. We had one night it hit 1°, but that was our lowest and we got 11.5 " of snow.
That is a lot of snow. We only had about four or 5 inches. But we did see one night of 12° below and quite a few days that barely made it to 8°. But most of it has melted now and spring is just around the corner.
Yay! You are alive and your indomitable spirits appear to be thriving. I hold you in gratitude and wish you the best. Thanks for the spoon. It arrived safely and I put it right to work. It has established a proper place in my kitchen. Pleasing to the hand and eye.
Thank you so much for the kind comment and also the positive feedback we really appreciate that
