lovely scenes and an immersive watch. the gradient at 2:40 seems quite steep. Experienced a step 3/emergency brake application yesterday evening whilst coming into Lisburn platform 3, not sure why. I believe the speed was too high. Unfortunately for me, I was stood at the doors. (Although thankfully holding on)
@@fakelol699 we were terminating at Lisburn, so the platform was correct. That would be the fault of the signaller, not the driver and would not prompt a heavy brake application. I believe we were just going a tad too fast.
No the 3000s will stay the way they are. There is no point converting them to 6 car as they are well over half way through their life span they are now 18 years old. They are expected to be in service about 25 years before withdrawal.
@@fakelol699 The 21 new M cars that turned units 4014 to 20 into 6 cars cost £50M so it is unlikely they will order anymore. Plus at the age the 3000s are at there is no point in converting them.

Thank you the gradient is pretty steep normally you can only tell how steep it is when your on Carrick or Clipperstown platform.
I think the line may have going into plat 2 are something like that and the driver see it add emergency break

You think we will get a 6 car 3000 like 4019

If a 6 car 3000 is built thay will make it last longer to 30 or 40 I think
