Tyler Perry will always give us a bad wig, more plot twists than Swiss cheese, a predictable storyline, an unnecessary sex scene, and a professional black woman who is always willing to risk it all for a lay. He really needs to hire some help.

I thought it was ok. I didn’t like Kelly’s on screen husband the pairing of the two was awkward as well as the brother in law and his wife. Also Kelly and the sister in law were too weak in the movie. You mentioned Tyler does his own writing without help well help is needed. The ending could have been better as well.
Yes I would of loved a better ending at least !

When Tyler does drama films most of them are overly dramatic and don’t make sense. I watched it and wasn’t impressed at all

I loved your comment - that I agree with: "Tyler does not believe in hiring other writers and producers." It is unbelievable how unaware this film and TP are. Was there not anyone involved who said, "Hey Tyler ... uh ... are you SURE you want to do this?" For perspective, this miscalculation cost $18.4M to produce!!! Compare that to the writing and logic of this tiny film called The Kingfish 2 which supposedly only cost $18K (one thousand times LESS!). Now you can see how bad Mea Culpa REALLY is. SMH.

I enjoyed it i feel like the some in the black community have a grudge on Tyler and show it by hating on the movies not matter what he makes, most of the noise and hate is coming from us the black community and yet we cry for black movie makers and cry about racism in Hollywood.

I'm really shocked by the comments but I totally loved it. And I know this isn't the norm but to me it was one of his best movie. I will say, however, that some of the points made are valid and I feel them but the end made it worth it for me.

I only watched for Rowland. The ending got me like wth lol..caught me off guard. Whole family wanting to kill her like psychoes lol. The sex scenes were so unnecessary. Perry in all his years of making movies, you'll think he would get better. 😂

It held my attention, for Tyler Perry I thought it was pretty decent lol
He could have put more focus on the court case and less on sex. Why was blood dripping from the ceiling, as Mea said it was? Was Zihir crazy? Why'd he have all those ladies painted over his bed? How did her family set him up in the first place? And why wasn't the presumed dead lady question? 🤦🏾♀️

Well I enjoyed it and hell no I didn't like the disrespect from the white lady hell I was cursing at the TV but overall it was different from the normal TP films but I enjoyed it!!!
