I just wanna bust down and cry this game was so fun back in the old updates I had so many memories but know it's just cartoony and to confusing what happened to the secret basement the in alpha 2 and alpha 1 and now theres like big bosses and crops on buildings and weird umbrellas and ughhhhh JUST BRING BACK MEMORIES!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I honestly can't wait. I've heard many gamers expressing their disappointment with Alpha 3 and 4 but I'm excited to see what's new! Game on!
Honestly thank god for the delay, the game is so terrible now. Most of the puzzles are so complicated that you have to wait for someone to solve it somehow, and put it up on RUclips. Getting that gun was terrible and putting it through that glitchy tube thing hurt me inside, after I got into the room with the trophys, I needed a freaking magnet. How in the world would I have thought of that, on top of this, there are many aspects for poor game design. So hopefully the game won't be a mess when it releases and just gets abandoned.

This game is great, with a lot of potential, but i feel that it has completely turned from horror game experience to a puzzle game, half of the time, the neighbor isn't even near you! The earlier alphas (pre-alpha, alpha 1, and alpha 2) had a serious horror atmosphere because the neighbor is always close, and could see you at almost any time. That is what i loved about the game, but now this game has become all about figuring out giant puzzles! I actually used to be scared when playing, and now... its just not scary anymore.
And people say god doesn't exist!
Moving the game release to December 8th means more time to develop the game and the beta 3 looks amazing.
What I mean by is that I pretty amazed for happy that they changed the release date to December 8th.
I don't believe in God if your thinking that and the fact that it's 2017 doesn't mean God can't exist. It's like saying "Lol, it's 2017 who cares about pineapples anymore!" (If your confused in Tudor times (I think) pineapples meant you were rich.).
God is an ideology and has proof that God does or dose not exist. However, I RESPECT your opinion but no how much space you have between paragraphs (Really? 2 lines of nothing?)

honestly, i think that most of us didn't get mad for the delay, it needed fixing and polishing, good luck tiny build.
I have a suggestion!
How about make modes..Like..One is normal hello neighbour solo, Another mode is multiplayer with steam friends! So then it will be more fun since me and my friend love playing together and we love hello neighbour so this would be so fun since the 2 players can use teamwork to beat the neighbour!

Hey, I know that it wasn't mentioned in the video, but having the superthrow ability by default makes no sense to me. I know you get the abilities when you complete the minigames, but by default?
Maybe in the fear factory minigame, make it so that your being timed, like you need to be somewhere. That way, the players aren't just throwing the ball around without any sort of rush to do so.

They cancelled the Fear_Factory, it didn’t fit the overall style of the game. Thus, they made the super throw default
MechanicalGelatin Not to sound rude but, Im aware on why they cancelled it. My point is that its weird that you just have that immediately. Im just trying to at least suggest an idea on how they could implement it again.
Yes, getting abilities is fine, but having one by default is weird, to me at least. Getting abilities from facing your "fears" to use against the neighbor is a cool idea to me, but having them by default especially the superthrow doesn't make sense.
I know it's just a game, but if their intentions are to make it so everthing is real and reveal that everything is all in your head throughout the story, then how would a nornal human throw that far?
If you get it from a fear minigame, then I think its okay, but straight off the bat would throw off people in my opinion. People "can" abuse this at the start, and they didn't even have to do anything. At least with a fear minigame, your rewared with something.
Sorry for my rant, but tl;dr:
Having superthrow by default is weird. They should make it so that's a reward for completing a minigame, it'll make it more "satisfying" in my opinion.
Ghostharold170 maybe they are working on a Fear level that would replace Fear_Factory, such as something like Fear_Hospital, etc.
Very true. Never rush a game. It happened to me once where I completed 99% of my game but failed to release due to bugs and viruses. It has to be postponed by two whole months. Be happy and stay positive.

I love this game but there is one thing I want back.. the old chase music it was much more frightening and I was scared shitless when I heard it for the first time please tiny build..

We honestly don't care if the game is buggy. I personally think that's what makes it interesting. I've been waiting since October for Xbox one or Pc (Laptop PC) and kNow I'm gonna have to wait over a year. At least give us a beta just so we can wait. I'm tired of watching this game trend before it's release and I'm just sitting there hoping that maybe we'll have something to keep us waiting. I can't last all the way to December 8th. We don't care if it's buggy, we just want to try the game and see what it's like and feel the tense thousands of youtubers have.

Yo Tinybuild I also Wanted to mention that there is a glitch where if you climb up the elevator the neighbor boards it up and you can walk through the boards. Just wanted to make sure you know!
I understand your decision to delay the game, it's very complex, and that complexity or difficulty needs to be tweaked and tested so the game could actually be playable and still be fun and terrifying

Edit: Guys y'all shouldn't rush tinybuilds because trying to fix bugs and make multiple maps and rooms and every AI in this game is super hard with a mega massive house and like every hello Neighbor fan I do wish it was coming out August 29th but respect their decision it is gonna come December so hold on the full game will be released

It's so nice that you guys have decided to delay the game just so you can make it better. As you can tell a lot of people didn't really like alpha three due to a few things being a bit... Off. But this is a really good decision you're making. Well done guys! Really looking forward to the full game! :D
I finally have beaten the 3rd Beta and that's what I think: As usally a great update with much visual and performance improving ! I play this game on everything Ultra and I have constantly 60 FPS and don't forget that it's the Unreal Engine 4. So for that a big and positive shoutout. Already from the beginning I liked the cartoonish style of the game. As for the Neighbor I have to say that he's been made pretty good like for example that can climb ladders and so on but sometimes (like in the Alpha) he stucks sometimes in some spots and is not able to free himself what is good for me because the Neighbor will not cause any danger and the game will get 100 times easier to beat. Of course this bug will be fixed but just sayin' ;) Another point which really is my own opinion but according to many other comments it is the horror feeling which caused back then (Pre-Alpha/Alpha 1 period) a very horrifying game experience in this game and it was obviously thank to the old chase theme which still is in this beta but is only hearable when turning on the Gramophone. It's really sad a bit because the horror in this beta was really lack on some points. My suggestion is that you create a much more intense and horrifying chase theme for the next beta or the final game. Another think you could do is add a option which gives you the ability to change from new to old. It's only a suggestion :). What I really like about this game are the mystic puzzles. So all in one it is a very good beta which still shows a few small problems which could easily be fixed until the final release.

The boss would make more sense if you went through a huge house that has mouse holes to go through or in a huge field where you run towards a house only for the neighbor to come out of the ground with that on his back or he's underwater and you can only see the house but you should make him lumber towards you since he has a house on his back he can't run or go fast so it's a perfect opportunity to make him move
Its not a problem it dosent bother me i understand how hard games are to make im a fan but i can wait till december because then you would have the time to make yhe full game cooler

i am dissapointed he isn't as good as in the pre-alpha, where he would lock doors and windows, instead of just cameras and bear traps. i never see him doing that stuff now. the game was really improved, i just hope that he can actually change how the game plays in the full version instead of just making it take longer.
and the slightly less important thing, but still would be nice to have the robot shark back.
does he? it must be quite rare, i only ever see the windows being repaired, ot boarded up like they used to be.

It's a good thing you're delaying Hello Neighbor's release, considering how many things broke with the Unreal Engine 4.16 upgrade.
On a very small note, I'd like to improve the subtitles.

Thank you for delaying the game I was very concerned about the final game from what I saw from beta 1 and I was actually hopping for this to happen. I wanted this because I see great potential in this game and I thought that from the way beta 1 turned out a great opportunity was about to be wasted. Yes, I do think it would have been nice to have an April release but I am more than fine to what a few more months if it meant that the game would be as good as it could possibly be. Again thanks.

What are your Favorite Game Mechanics that you think TinyBuild should put in the final game? For example, I think they should keep the Mechanic where you take the key off the neighbors side from alpha 2 (mabey its one of the mini game keys?) And, I think in the full game, they should allow you to play ALL the diffrent alphas too instead of just one house. As they said, there are still secrets in previous alphas we haven't found.
P.s, TinyBuild, I'm not mad about the delay on Xbox, (I pre ordered) I love this game so much, I don't care how long it takes.

Wait, I thought of something. This Beta only contains about 40% of the full game, right? And in the boss fight at the end, you're trying to get into the house (that looks eerily familiar to the player's house) that is on the Neighbor's back, correct? What if the current playable house is only a tutorial house, and an even bigger, even crazier house is waiting for us beyond this boss fight?

"the build should not crash on you" My game crashed at the cut scene, like always. Even the skip cut scene option makes it crash, endlessly.

You should make a hardcore one life mode when you release it, multible endings, and other challenges. Those are just some of my suggestions
