ABOUT KEVIN CHAPMAN
I'm a 37 year old RUclipsr from the UK. I've got a cracking beard and I'm currently going through the autism diagnosis process. I started this channel back in 2017 and by the time I left my full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July of that year, my partner Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw me because I was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today I'm a full-time content creator and always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my ongoing journey! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs and The Chapman Family.

As someone as organised as you kev bullet journal etc I can't believe you allowed it to get so messy!
The reason I'm so organised and productive with my work is that I prioritise everything, and low priority stuff tends to not get done. Tidying is definitely low priority!

Great video Kev. I couldn't believe the mess in your studio at the start, it looked a lot better by the end. Well done.
Insulate the roof! It will really help with soundproofing and keep it warm. It's also fairly cheap. Some polystyrene sheets and 4mm Ply will help loads! Better for lighting too
Well done Kev, but don't forget to finish it. It would so easy to just start that downward spiral all over again.

2 suggestions for your whiteboard Kev either scribble over with whiteboard markers and erase as normal or use a cloth and use either washing up liquid or lens cleaner to wipe over your board
2:11 and folks, that’s what he used to look at while editing videos. Now that’s what I call a bloody makeover...
If you get rid of the fridge and freezer you can put one, maybe two, tall cabinets there to give you more storage space.

We have one of those old school manual carpet cleaners that you have to push really hard
Kev you don’t have to worry about letting the adhesive under your carpet tiles set - the more you step and stand on it from the get-go the better it sticks (also over a long time too) - I lay them at work a lot 👍

I just recently cleaned my sewing room and I can totally identify with the absolute chaos that you had in your office/garage. It was so overwhelming just thinking about cleaning/clearing/organizing it and that was why it just continued to become a hoarders paradise. Glad to say, that like you did with your office, I was also able to finally make it a workable area. Well done Kevin, you did a great job. It all looks comfortable and neat.

Me thinks Kev needs to schedule some more regular tidy time 😂 also currently sorting out my space, it’s also my bedroom but spend more of my time in there working than sleeping. IKEA is great, got a lovely shelf, getting a new wardrobe with some shelves also in it (customised, doesn’t break the bank) and 2 bins. Now just got to sort my current broken wardrobe, not going to be fun.
If your video editing software supports VST plug ins, you could try a noise gate plug in to remove the buzz from your freezer or any unwanted background noise

Kevin you don't have to buy a new armchair look on Facebook in your local area if anyone is giving one away. Have you thought of painting the garage walls different colours and see if the local charity shop wants any of your "junk" also take those two unused fridges to the tip

im glad you shoed what it looked like before. ive definitely gotten to that point, and its.... rough lmao. when you finally do get to cleaning, its a whole affair, which just makes you put it off longer. but it definitely looks great now. nothing feels better than waking up the next day and walking into a nice and tidy work space
