From looking at my own Blackwidow, although it is the 2019 Blackwidow Elite, you have that part the other way around. Probably pop it in the same way but flip it 180
I got stuck trying to get my "special" keys back on. This helped me fix my problem and get everything installed and working again. Thanks. My issue was the black mounting bars didnt come out and I thought I would have to disassemble the back of the keyboard to pull them out. Turns out you can just press on the top and pull them right now. Connect everything back up and then pop the whole thing back in place. Wouldnt have figured it out with out watching this.
The little plastic notch that helps the piece snap in, is actually broken on one of mine. Going to try to just super glue it in place if I can. Not sure where I would need to look to find that part.
They might be able to ship you a replacement clip. You can also look at other razor keyboards, if they're all similar, you might be able to buy a discounted/clearance one and use the clip from that
Alright so I finally figured it out. I have no clue why, but on my keyboard the pieces ON THE KEYBOARD that the bar snaps into were flipped upside down. Absolutely no idea why, they never came out. But if your bar has to snap in the the bottom side of the keyboard just pop out the little pieces that the bar snaps into and turn them so the bar snaps in towards the top of your keyboard. That was my fix atleast.
Bunnyko nice. I thought I was the only one who still owns one of the few remaining OG blackwidows. I recently switched over to the blackwidow chroma v2 but I’m gonna keep my old one for nostalgia. :)
Well with me, I was so mad I hit my blackwidow so hard that the left side actually pressed too hard down and now it is actually like broken......... So it's now uneven and I tried using epoxy but it just doesn't work. Maybe you have a solution to that? ..... please. I'm desperate and I don't want to pay $200 - $300 dollars for a new one.
Michael Gillette I'd try emailing Razer about the part and see if there's a way of getting one. If your keyboard is under warranty still they might replace it.
thats great and all but mine is missing that clip on the bottom, it seems that it must've broke off.. anybody knows how i can fix it or order that one specific part? wtf is it even called

How do you put the metal bar back on the keyboard? I have it in the spacebar but I can't seem to be able to get it in to the board its self
Galaxy it snaps into the little black clips. There should be a small space above the clip that hooks into the keyboard

Use the one from a different key. i took the one from one of the shift keys. works perfect

Wait. Is that the OG bw with cherry MX blues? Or did you replace the razer switches that came with the board?
I didn't replace the switches, but they're louder than what I would expect from a cherry (I use a Logitech cherry at work).
