I’d love to come intern at Pete’s place. I have been studying gardening for about a year… I suck at it. I have a little backyard & am growing staple foods like lettuce tomatoes grapefruit etc. but I’m trying to learn to grow pineapples lychees peaches etc. but I can’t keep them alive & I may be learning wrong… I’d like to learn from experience & a teacher instead of from a book or online. But I can’t find anyone who knows anything. Maybe Pete would let me camp out in his lychee fields & I can help him out & learn from him how to grow these fruit trees. I just want to learn how to grow my own foods. I suck at it.

Monocrops always have problems. We have some lychee trees in amongst thousands of other fruits , plants etc and we get plenty of lychee’s. Actually started eating them yesterday.
Everyone I know in our area calls them Lie-chee not Lee-chee.
