Jaipur has only problem of not being any natural source of water near it. If jaipur were on banks of any perennial river like Guwahati on Brahmaputra... Unlimited possibilities of development would have been here. Meanwhile I love jaipur and always wanna see it ahead of its all competitors.

Once act East policy is implemented with proper intent, Guwahati will grow much bigger as it is near to many international boundaries. As of today jaipur is more developed than guwahati, but few years down the line guwahati will overtake jaipur because of its strategic location.

I wonder what compelled you to compare these two cities? Both Cities have their own charm..Both are rapidly growing cities where Guwahati lags behind in terms of development but still being the dessert capital of India, Jaipur too lags behind in terms of Infrastructure when compared to other metropolitan cities... Jaipur gives you a kind of Royal feeling with deep history whereas Guwahati will give more of a sprightly feel..BTW I live in both the cities❤️
Both cities are unique , but in my opinion Guwahati lacks in development as compared to jaipur. Guwahati is green rainy city and I totally loved it when I live there for 1 year , I am from Jaipur . Jaipur also need development to cope up with metros
