- A tropical disturbance with a chance of development formed off the Florida Gulf coast on Tuesday morning. WSAV Chief Meteorologist Scott Roberts joins WFLA Meteorologists Amanda Holly and Rebecca Barry to discuss what happens after the system dumps several inches of rain in Florida and moves offshore. Whether you're a hurricane-hardened native or a first-time Florida resident, you've likely heard the basics for hurricane preparation. Im glad you guys are getting rain but I'm also a frustrated mom whose probable last vacation due to finances to Florida is June 22-28 so if this is my last and it most likely is it looks like pcb is gonna take a hit with rain I was hoping for a couple of nice sunny beach days dang. Makes me sad :/
It's only the 11th. It's not going to hang around for a week and a half
I don’t think you should worry. By June 22nd things will be better. In Miami any day can go from rain to sunshine when you least expect it!
I'm not from FL I did live there for a couple of years in Clearwater and I spend every summer for the last idk 25 30 Years there so I love the 3pm rain daily hahah but I saw a forecast about and more than one, stating a second front from like Honduras is coming in 2 weeks hitting the panhandle that's what I was sad about I hope it changes
We need rain desperately. I live in Sanford, FL
She has a little Lawrence Welk kind of accent.
I have an irrational dislike for questions in titles. For me, click bait questions in titles are for lame content farms. I would hope local news would stick to mature journalism. Give us the information we need.
Im in keywest and we are flooding this is alful
got ripped so far up here in NE Central Florida/Flagler county
maybe the weather will blow away the russian warships and subs off the florida coast.
So it's okay for our military to be everywhere in the world in everyone's business but it's not okay for Russia to have warships here?
Holly said little tropical area ,if this is little I would hate to see large., Dust suspended in the atmosphere acts as a natural sunshade, reflecting sunlight back into space. This has a cooling effect on Earth’s surface. However, within the dust layer, some infrared radiation is absorbed, leading to localized warming1. Sounds like their not sure what the some effect is.
