My god everything about this song is freaking good! The bass sounds freaking narly, the vocals man them feels, the drums are tight as fck and the guitars are just groovy
What's up James from 7 years ago. You thought it was weird that Donald Trump just got elected well guess what just happened two days ago he got elected again and it's the world's even crazier than you could ever imagine buddy. I know what I told you doesn't make sens but it will
Most songs start off with the music and the vocals are added last. The Lost Dogs version didn't have the vocals because Ed didn't like the lyrics or something.
Awesome photo!! This is a freakin awesome song heyyyy yeaaaa I love that part!! The solo was excellent!! Thank you for sharing this awesome video 😊💓🤘✌️
Not on Ten but Wash, State of Love and Trust, Breathe, Footsteps, Alone, Brother, Just A Girl, Evil Little Goat, Sonic Reducer, Yellow Ledbetter could have been its own album. Could have sold it as an ep in late 1992 for Christmas season. Would have gone platinum for sure.
in all seriousness this really should have been on the original ten because the 2009 one is kinda good but to over dubbed and he just pushes himself singin it and mike just killed the solo but not as he did in this and matt really nailed it. both are good but this one kills.
no they edited it remember the lost dogs version. thats what im talkin about. eddie vedders vocals were added to the ten reissue because like i said they used the lost dogs version and added his vocals. its a good song either way
I'm blown away by this version. Definitely one of those PJ songs that ought to have been on albums, like 'Sad' and 'Hard to Imagine'.
This is the best photograph presentation I have ever seen of pearl Jam. Ever.
Bruh why this was not released with ten. Sounds amazing
I read something about Stone didn’t want it to be in it, something that pissed Jeff a lot at the time.
@@rocketflame974 Can see why Jeff got pissed to be fair. This is an awesome track.
Oh my, young eager Eddie and The Boys are amazing...
Those harmonies in the chorus are soooo good.
Even better than the reissue version
Dave Krusen is such an underrated drummer
Gives songs room to breathe and has a great feel. He’s really good on that record by Unified Theory with those guys from Blind Melon.
"Alive", "Black", "Deep", "Jeremy", "Why Go" and THIS SONG are some of my favorite drumming by Dave Krusen.

this take sounds so much more natural and less forced than the one they released
Well said
The best PJ tune EVER IMO.
in the top definitely
Makes no sense that they only played it live like 6 times.
I was there for one.... Amazing... Newark
this version is superior

Never understood why Eddie's vocals weren't there from the beginning? Such a Ten/VS transition song! Awesome!

Dave Krusen on fire
Great version!

The best pearl jam!
Raw Energy
The part starting at the 2:12 😮💨
Great damn song. Honestly don’t think it would’ve fit on ten but would’ve been great in Vs or on Singles

I doubt with vs, sounds more like a ten sound, without the anger of vs
Starts like "Nearly lost you" from Screaming Trees
Agreed 100%

completely agree
+MrXtreme1234567 Are you implying that they re-recorded Brother for the Ten re-issue?
no they edited it remember the lost dogs version. thats what im talkin about. eddie vedders vocals were added to the ten reissue because like i said they used the lost dogs version and added his vocals. its a good song either way
matt cameron is not drumming on the redux “ten” version. it’s all krusen.
Wouldn't have been out of place on Vs or Ten to be honest, but I get more of a Vs vibe from it. It's a kick ass song for sure.
How do I get a high quality mp3 of this?
Where can I save this song at? Did PJ ever put it on a CD? And no not the crappy version they redid, this one is superior.
It was on a CD called “rarities unreleased cuts”
Screaming Trees anyone?
If I get more than 1 likes, they will play it live this year!
Maybe it was too soon for a Mother Love Bone tribute?
little pusher
The lyrics changed. Oh little sister and oh little brother.
PJ was the ONLY positive thing to come from Andrew Wood's death. RIP L'Andrew.
temple?
Weird comment.

Ok maybe not. Reminds me of something. Not sure
