My wife bought one of those USB powered mini drills for jewelry work. Barely made it two weeks before failing. OTOH, she bought me one of those plastic welder kits, and a heat shrink tubing kit with a hot air blower and those have both been just fine so far. I would have liked for the hot air tool to have a bit longer cord, but otherwise no complaints for the price.
Brilliant vid Dom, very useful info. I had a bad experience with Temu, but willing to give them another try after this, some of those sets look useful to me, so I think Santa will be getting a list😉
@@pigeonguardgames507 ooo no sorry to hear you had a bad experience. From what I can see they seem to be a cheap and cheerful kinda retailer. So you get what you pay for. Some things are better than others but you wouldn’t buy your Sunday best on here. Great for day to day stuff tho for sure

As a mechanic, i got good brand tools but also buy tools from Temu, mainly on adapter, pick hook(always missing), cheap 12pt socket and tools organizer (great and cheap, i bought alot) and for daily use tools, recommend to buy something good and with life time warranty
Dear Dom, I became aware of you and your brother by virtue of seeing the articles of your MK build in Complete Kit Car. I watched the Temu tools review and so I bought one of the battery testers, as my 54 reg Landcruiser Amazon has been sitting unused and uncharged for roughly 2 years now and I need to know whether I need to buy new batteries, as it is a 24v beast. This is just to let you know that I bought the tester for £18.10, a bargain!. To buy new batteries for the truck is mortgage money; you never know, I may be lucky. All the best, David

Ive purchased many tools and tool accessories from Temu and all but 2 were worth buying and still work very well. The 46 piece tool set is trash. Ive purchased the exact same tools from Temu and Amazon. Most people will talk trash about Temu because they say it's "cheap Chinese crap", but everyone's favorite chinese website is Amazon.

Can’t fault what I bought to be fair mate. There is deffo certain things I wouldn’t buy from there but that’s the same as any retailer.
