Shimmering Bass i only have botw and hyrule warriors, for botw you can partly disable it, not for when you rotate stuff in the shrines which is where motion control is, im sure it’s nintendos personality to force it somewhere in any game they can
Breath of the Wild specifically disables it for aiming, which is what the option says. The motion controlled shrines are so rare that it means the game is 99% motion control free.

Duuude ! I've been a huge fan of SMS speedruns since SGDQ 2013 (it was the first time I watched a SMS speedrun). Then I totally fell in love with the any% TAS, that run being one of my favorite speedruns period.
I've known about the 100% categorie for a long time, without watching any (3h was too long, didn't have the motivation to watch it) but then your fantastic run at AGDQ 2018 happened. And 2 weeks later you break the WR with a sub 3h ? Huge congratz dude, I'm gonna watch this run when I'll have the time, definitly. I have the feeling that this is going to be in my top 5 favorite speedruns ever
2018 is great for speedrunning so far: Sub 3 120 shine - 47:34 in SM64 70 star - fairy hover skip in TWWHD - Mario odyssey runs on fire rn

3. IT BROKE THE LEGENDARY 3H MARK

in my opinion the greatest speedrun of all time is the SMG2 242 WR by HardcoreGaming, because:
1- It broke the 9 hour barrier
2- It beat the WR by 8+ minutes
3- It beat Hardcore's PB by 11 minutes
4- 242>any other category because of luigi
5- Webcam and Live Commentary
6- It's from my favourite game of all time
Even though I prefer this run to the sub 3, I have great respect for AverageTrey for getting this insane time and still being top 10 until this day.

This run is still so good all these years later. I remember seeing it right when it happened, and I still love it. Commentary is great, gameplay is stellar, and even though the record's been beaten by over 7 minutes by now, this is still an amazing piece of SMS history.

Thank you my guy, seeing you, who you think isn't a top speedrunner, get the first sub 3 hour in SMS 100% is still amazing to this day. When I get a Wii, I plan on going for a sub 2 hour 100% in SM64, and when it comes to speedrunning, you and SimpleFlips are my favorites. My best right now is a 3:12 on an emulator, but I could do a lot better.

I think what impressed me most, aside from your obvious Yoda-level skills, was your impressive emotional stability. I myself am a 26-year-old budding entrepreneur, and I have learned that emotional stability, a growth mindset, and the willingness to remain consistent with your work habit even when it gets hard, are the most important traits to achieving astronomical business success.
One of my business coaches has used these qualities to create an eight figure income for himself. If we lived in the same part of the country I’d see about grabbing a cup of coffee with you and opening a few doors for you in the business world. I know it’s not likely that we live close to each other though. I live near Memphis, TN.
