I think it's probably due to his genetics and metabolic rate. His dad's a soccer player, and soccer players typically don't bulk up that much. Minho mentioned in another program that if he doesn't work out, he loses weight. That's pretty typical of someone with very fast metabolism; muscle growth requires a lot of energy (aka calories) and people with fast metabolisms burn through those calories before their bodies can use it to build muscle.
It always comes down to genetics at the end of the day.... Even if he didnt have the fast metabolism etc I dont think he could be bulky as for example Wonhoo (ex member of Monsta X).
