Iseltwald in autumn

Iseltwald - the pearl at Lake Brienz.
Lake Brienz is located in the middle of the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland. Surrounded by impressive mountains, forests and waterfalls, it is a local recreation area for many Swiss and tourists.
Iseltwald is located on the left bank of the Lake Brienz. With its 420 inhabitants, it is one of the small communities of the Canton of Bern.
The uniquely beautiful bay with all its traditional houses, the mountain world behind it and the small island "Schnäggeinseli" invites you to dream and has inspired many painters and writers to great works.

2:11 did u know that they captured some scenes from there for *"THE HOBBIT"* at the "Lake-town", or Esgaroth (known fully as "Esgaroth upon the Long Lake") ? ;D
