I know this video is already a bit older but thank you so much for making this. I just recently got into the Digimon TCG and tried playing this deck with a friend of mine who got the new Greymon Starter Deck. While playing we were always looking up things in the rulings more than actually playing. You made such a beginner friendly explanation for this deck and also your newest video about deck building is fantastic. It's kind of hard to find easy to understand & educational videos about the TCG so thank you so much for making the content you produce!
Hi guys, update time. Please read this before or after watching the video. So, EX2 Impmon got limited to 1 copy per deck. You can basically ignore everything that deals with 2 of them popping up at the same time because it's now impossible. In terms of deckbuilding, still replace Phascomon if you have 1 copy of the starter deck. For 2 copies you'll have to run 1 EX2 Impmon and 3 Candlemon. If Impmon ever becomes un-limited I'll update this again
As someone who expects to see Beelze in locals for the next 3 months, glad you analyzed it since I dont plan on playing this but want more ideas to fight it
Had been playing around with the deck and this video actually adressed some of the rulings I was wondering about with it (and some of the jank I'm trying to get to work), great job!
Suscribed! Tanks, the best eplanation for noobs out there, such as me. The way the rules worked was alien to me. Hope to see more videos like this and maybe more advanced situational combo tutorials for both this starter deck and the full versions.
I have a community post about it with some information. Not making a video specifically for it but it will appear in my next starter deck video after the Liberator decks come out. Hope you enjoy the game!
Wasn't expecting to learn more advance rules of the game! thanks a lot mate, keep the amazing content, also tier list of which agumon variant you could defeat in a fist fight when?
How does the Digimon TCG Format work? Is there set rotation and limited play sets like Pokémon and MTG? Or are you allowed to use all other cards from the game's entire history like Yu-Gi-Oh? Also is there a banlist?
Great video but im confused about mons keeping security + 1 efx after they evolvef. Which efx carry over to the evolved mon and which ones dont. Im guessing "this digimon gains" efx always carry over even when evolved
Any effect that lasts until the end of the turn or the opponent's turn stays after evolution. Beelzemon keeps Sec +1 because it lasts for the turn. But if it just had the Sec +1 keyword, it would lose it upon evo.
It's not that different, just digivolve into BeelzX before going into Blast Mode to trash security and then hopefully swing for game. You'll need an extra memory but it's not hard to get, especially if your opponent passes 2.
Keeping it limited to just starter deck cards, you'll have to replace the 3 EX2 Impmon with Candlemons. The ban hurts but not worth worrying about if you're not competing.
Yeah there are plenty, just don't play them against meta decks. The power gap is too wide to be fun IMO unless your deck just happens to soft counter some meta deck.
I love to see your videos any time they pop up in my recommended, but isn't it strange how you released this video when TrueChampionSteven came back from his break?

My month depression has been cured, unironically, with ur 2 vids. You got me into this game finally
Let's gooooo my entire goal is to get more people playing Digimon!
As a new player getting into the game I finally understand triggering effects now thank you for the great visuals of the combo!
Appreciate the rules section with the combos. The last in, first out discussion helped

Great video as always. Can't wait for the next one!
Hope you cover the Terriermon Advanced deck in the future! Just bought it as my first deck

So far there is no rotation and there is a ban list.
Love the uploads ❤️

I know it is probably a stretch, but as a new player, can you update the combo guide from his video with the same info for combos with Beezlemon X?

Can you make an updated list or is it not as good anymore because of the ban list?
Keeping it limited to just starter deck cards, you'll have to replace the 3 EX2 Impmon with Candlemons. The ban hurts but not worth worrying about if you're not competing.
Does Digimon have jank decks like Yu-Gi-Oh where they're not the best decks but they're super gimmicky, so when you pull them off, it feels great?
Yeah there are plenty, just don't play them against meta decks. The power gap is too wide to be fun IMO unless your deck just happens to soft counter some meta deck.

2 people made a video?! On the same day!?! No freaking way dude! It must be aliens
