Bailey's Sweatstance always shocks me. I see it every now and then on Insta but someone always cuts the clip short before he takes his top off and lobs it. Always cracks me up that part. Impossible trick and really funny shirt removal. Perfection. Also, another iconic is Richie Eisler's huuuuuge backside across bridge/highway barrier. Unreal to even think of hitting at that speed
This was a good one! Tons of hammers. I still always think about the Richie Eisler forever rail from a small edit a ways back. Yeah,it's a frontside, but he must have traveled a city block!
Yeah but people have been doing that forever and there are multiple people to do the longer 666 rail. Richie is great to watch though. that's a great edit.
Can't complain about the list at all, like everyone's said there's been so many insane tricks that the list could be a top 100. Bailey's sweatstance is probably the most perfect grind ever though!
Yea it’s incredible. I was very hard picking 10 - I could have gone all older tricks but wanted some newer ones in there. Had to stop myself doing all new tech tricks haha. Was a bit of a classics list and some new.
Awesome list Tom and love your style with it! Some more tricks that come to mind are Broskows fastslide drop rail in New York; Carlos Pinowskis back royale huge drop kink vg20; and of course Shimas royale at IMYTA Paris. Haffeys disaster soul at Bercy is another and I see that in your footage. I must say though Latimers 540 has got to be top of the list and mustn't forget his alley oop parallel fish in the storm drain 😃
I left a comment on one of your videos about how I thought sweatstances look goofy. Erik Bailey just changed my mind with this monster. Also I saw a video where Sean Kelso sweatys up a rail, does a 360 & kindgrinds back down it. That also looked great.
Haffey tried a fakie 7 the first time in illumination by matt micky. It was in the credits in 2001 i bout shit when he tried it didnt land it but tried a few times
This was a really good list, I saw some of these as a kid and I could barely believe it. Could you do another one with less well known bladers ? Not long ago I saw a video, someone did a disaster 450 back royal in Barcelona, I don't know the spot's name, but it's stair set to flat to stairset with those ledges that are kind of shaped like coping on both sides.
Forum ledges - the kinda look like they have coping on. It was Cyril Daniel. I defo could do one on lesser know skaters. Would like to do one on really tech tricks as well
I love your kind of analysis, there is a lot of really interesting stuff going with kinetic energy and mass shifting. In case of tricks i agree with a lot of them. Bailey and Latimer were spot on. I was hoping for Broskows 540 thru that hole in the wall. Keep it up ^^
