LYRICS:
Late on my rent
But I just copped the new Timbs
And yeah my car got a flat
But I got salt on my rim
Nobody knows
I keep the tags on my clothes
Cause I got bill that are due
But I got money to blow
My daddy’s in my ear
He said watch your fuckin’ money
My mama’s talking shit
Burned a hole right through his pocket
But I don’t wanna hear it
I just wanna get this honey
No I don’t wanna hear it
My flexing is a problem
Wallet like a cemetery
I might go and wake the dead
My flexing is a problem
Gotta spend it til there’s nothing left
Late on my rent
But I just copped the new Timbs
And yeah my car got a flat
But I got salt on my rim
Called out of work
I’m gonna drink til it hurts
They’ll be like ooh bitch he snapped
Off in his Gucci t-shirt
My daddy’s in my ear
He said watch your fuckin’ money
My mama’s talking shit
Burned a hole right through his pocket
But I don’t wanna hear it
I just wanna get this honey
No I don’t wanna hear it
My flexing is a problem
Wallet like a cemetery
I might go and wake the dead
My flexing is a problem
Gotta spend it til there’s nothing left

WRATH TO THE INDUSTRY
Dont think we'll be seeing those days again.
🤣🤣
lmao
ALRIGHT! LETS DO THIS!
Never got to see them live during the beginning 😭
Tyler Carter said himself that he made this song a single and dedicated a video towards it because he knew it would be the black sheep of the record. People would like it and people would hate it. He also said that it’s the most light hearted issues song ever written and it’s not supposed to be taken serious. It’s just a fun song.
And I agree.
It's a really fun song, I cant help but groove to it

Why expand your music taste? That’s like saying if someone is gay, just try the opposite sex. Man, let people like what they like. Now we’re not allowed to dislike when a band completely changes genres? Fuck that and fuck you. “I’m better than everyone.” There I said it for you.
Right. I mean, I totally understand it if you don’t like this, but respect them for trying something new.
It's not that our taste our narrow its just a trash ass song

Once I saw “bruh” in your comment, I knew this was gonna be some crappy radio pop rock song. Pop ruins everything! Literally.
I mean it’s different which is cool bc someone will find an appreciation for it but I think it’s missing hella guitar power. Just seems like something so boring to perform live.

Anyone that's seriously hating on this song has no appreciation for music. Y'all lost 👎 Issues got that 👍🔥
I love this song lmao and it sounds even better in context of the album, but people just want the same old, same old.
Pursuing these changes is how bands evolve. Most bands that just stick with the same stuff tend to die out. Look at BMTH, despite changing so much, they're still one of my all time favorites even though I've listened to them since Count Your Blessings was new.
I don’t care if bands change sounds, they just need to be able to do it well, which Issues can’t do.
They should change bands then. But, I like how poppy is going more to the rock side of things so it's maybe I have a double standard lol. I just love heavy music
at first i was caught seriously off guard but i love it more with each listen 😂 i'm glad they've put out a song as ballsy as this to shake things up a bit.

@@HopeAnchors7 I liked the first two singles, but with it being issues, I figured the other songs on the album would only get better. This song proved me wrong, and left me disappointed
To be fair, the song rings in at a 2 minutes and 25 seconds. I was questioning the legitimacy of the song being that short and, my thought was this sounds more like a filler song that brings the album along at some point. I'm hoping that's what it was meant to be. Cause the first 2 singles were so good and had their own style and take on the genre and this is pop with riffs at the tail end? Excited for the album but definitely a little more scared now.
Couldn’t said it better. 💯
This is confirmed to be the 10th track on the album, hmm
Just weird they do a video for it
That's interesting cause I think this song is far more creative and unique than their first two singles. Is it my favorite of the 3? no way but still definitely pushing the creative boundaries which I like.

Mad unfortunate too. Like how they gonna keep to their roots with the first singles & then release this? Honestly, Michael got the long stick of it all. I'd rather be known as the guy who got kicked for "musical differences" & then joins an actual stay to their roots rock band. Than to be known as the guys that converted from a very heavy hardcore band to some whack ass MJ "heehee" band. Issues I'm disappointed.
Exactly the same with me.

HaleThePanda no hate, just criticism. I personally love Issues. There’s always that ‘one’ song in the album that stands out from the others, For example: Uneasy Hearts Weigh the Most from DGD, Erased from Volumes etc. That song is weird, but it reminds of Michael Jackson during the chorus, so that’s cool

This is so silly and fun! I love it. Totally get it.
i've been a fan since the first EP, and although i side more with the "tapping out" style that issues brings, i think artists should be able to evolve in what they put out. i think issues did a really good job of showing their flexibility (no pun intended) with this song. a new vibe, but the elements that i love about issues' songwriting/chord patterns were all there. definitely different, but not by any means "bad".
I guess the rest of the band will be cheering on Tyler as he sings this song live.
