I thought this movie was gonna be boring but I finally watched it for the first time tonight and cried like a baby through the whole thing. Ugh, does this kind of love even exist anymore?

But with the sensory overload we get each an every day in our modern world it is biologically improbable that we will ever get this infatuated with another person when we have computer screens distracting us all the time and idealized images pushed in our face. Such love can only come from the pureness of intent and of the heart. Not from lusty desire. You won't find this at any nightclub.

Why do you say that? i think that deep down everybody does want this kinda love, but theyre probably to afraid to show it. Maybe you had a bad experience with somebody? but it doesnt mean that everybody is the way that person is.

+Nonnaa1992 I say this cuz when a man show utmost love and care to a woman, for most women, it just put their head above clouds, they become cocky and start treating the guy like shit. It's best to keep 'em at an arm's length and never wear your heart on your sleeve when involved romantically with a woman.
That is putting every single woman in the same categorie and thats wrong. because not everyone is like that and stereotyping females all because youve seen or been in such a relationship doesnt mean that everyone is the same. i know enough people that are in a relationship for years and they still treat each other with respect and unconditional love.
If you dont open your heart for the next woman in your life then how do you think they'll feel when they give they're heart and soul to you but you dont do the same!

It does exist . I split from my girlfriend . Started talking to a wonderful woman online . She forgot her password . We lost touch .My ex gf ask me back and I tried to make that work . A few months later the girl from online came back . Want to know if I wanted a relationship . But I had made a commitment to make my previous relationships work . So the online girl accepted friendship
After 2 years of a bad relationship . It ended I. Had yet another relationship which was brief I was cheated on in both . Then I suddenly realised the girl from online had everything . She was and is amazing . She was about to end our friendship . I told her I love her and she cried and was very emotional and saying are you sure . 18 months later we got married . She is Wonderful women . So caring so loyal . So sweet . I am blessed .And she tells me she is too 😊😊😊

I have been avoiding this movie for soooo long. I reach the age of 25 years old without even watching this iconic movie. We'll tonight I watched it for the first time. I freakin bawl my eyes out. It is so good
I enjoy this movie. First I thought that it is boring and the kind of movie I will skip. But then there is this time that I saw this dvd on my couch and I thought my sister left it. I got bored and try to watch it. Then the first 10 minute the film start. I pause it and grab a soda and snacks. Then I continued watching it. I never skip every scene every second of this movie I watch until I reach the end and cry like a baby...
This is the only successful movie that I don't like that is based off of Nicholas Sparks novel. I watched it twice and I didn't enjoy it. I did, however, love A Walk to Remember and The Best of Me. Mind you, I'm a sucker for chick flicks.

Walked into the theatre with my girlfiend at the time on June 25 2004 to see this movie. walked out with tears in my eyes and my girlfriends. I never seen more people leave that theatre in tears ever. One girl was on her knees in the lobby crying so much that her friends had to pick her up. love like this does exist, but we take it for granted.

Don't forget that even when you think you found her, she also has to fall in love with you.
It happens a lot that love is one sided. It's the best when both love each other but don't pressure someone into a relationship.
If you want to be together with someone for a long time, you have to be more than "just" in love. Being in love over a long time is like having incredible feelings for someone you would also like even when you weren't in love with her.

This was one of the best books about relationships and sacrifice that I have ever read. I feel as more people watch or come across movies or books like this, it would change their perspectives on relationships.

This film reminds me of my first love, it's been 5 years since we broke up, and I still love him, I'm looking for something in each to remind me of him, the look, the eyes, the voice and even the wrinkles😔 ... The film is beautiful, the two of them are a great couple , and Rachel is beautiful as an angel😍, her smile and look, both were created for these roles and this film.❤

i have always heard so much about this movie, and since im a huge fan of dear john, i figured i should just watch this. now, everyone always says that dear john is really underrated, and that dear john is so much better than the notebook. i honestly cant decide between the two now that ive watched it. i went into it thinking it was just gonna be another movie about summer love that i could predict everything and it was gonna be full of cliches, i mean it kinda was but also not really. i mean god damn, the acting was incredible, the chemistry was amazing and by the end of it i was crying like a baby. big fat tears for the full last hour of the movie. i didnt even expect to cry, i just was watching it and i blinked and just nonstop tears started coming out. i never thought i would be sobbing over old peoples love stories but ohmygoddd. in the scene after their dinner when he sees her trying to get away from him and calling for help as he calls her sweetheart. MY HEART GOT RIPPED OUT OF MY CHEST I SWEAR TO GOD the sight of him just breaking down while she tried to get away from him was utterly heartbreaking.
yeah i mean thats all i really have to say. if you actually read this whole thing, thanks ummmm yeah. NOW GO WATCH THE MOVIEEEE you wont regret it.
btw if your entertainment providers, netflix, disney plus, hulu, sling, whatever, doesnt have the notebook. you can use the website vumoo.to, its not a secure website, but like it has pretty much any movie you could ever want on it, its free, no sign up. i use it all the time. i have a chromebook laptop so i cant really get viruses so idk if u would on another type of laptop/phone/tablet. also there r no pop ups and messages and stuff like a lot of other websites. but yeah thought maybe people could use it.

I just finished watching it and I honestly thought I wasn't going to cry, and the movie is amazing but there is no way you can sit there and tell me you won't cry after that ending. (And yes you will be satisfied with the ending, at least I was.)

Okay, whole life I hear how good this movie is and I ve decided to seen it. I have more 15-20 minutes to the end of the movie but I stopped and went to see my first love from distance. We are in different paths and we dont even have any contact each other. At age of 24 I ve chosen a way for me - to take care for my little brothers and mother and for me its the best. If I love myself and being alone because I can hear my thoughts and make best decisions so love ll find me some day. I dont believe in love it is hard nowadays in this fake world but I believe in myself as a man and a future better man. Great movie overall! Romance movies make your heart weak but time to time I need this. I have too strong heart.

This movie touched my heart, thank you ❤️. Normally I am not showing feelings, but...I love this kind of love, between these two characters. That's what I want, and thats what I hope to find, in life. It's what everybody should have, really. True love over shallow love. Cheers.
