@@bigal2417 You're not understanding that the pressure of the world was against him fighting this "youtuber" Jake lol. Nobody would've cared if he fought some rando world champion. The pressure came from people calling him a wuss for 2-3 years straight for situations that prevented him from fighting Jake in the past.
@@mgames1710 I doubt he was bothered by a few idiots with big mouths on RUclips,that's not "the pressure of the world". Paul is a tough guy but he's a brawler not a boxer and the difference in stamina and conditioning was really showing from around round 6. He did the right thing,he could probably have taken Paul out but there's always a chance of a decent scrapper like him landing a decent punch so he just did enough to win. Whatever Judge gave Paul the fight should be kicked out of Boxing. As Fury said he's already a class above Paul.
As for Logan Paul, the guy should grow up.I wouldn't put it past Tyson Fury to pop up when he's least expecting it to ask him to repeat what he said during the fight.
Jake did ok but he's not top class boxing material,a good scrapper for sure but that's not the samer,Tommy is around the top people in the game and will get much better,if there's a re-match I'd guess it will be even more one-sided.

I don't think the fight was as close as the scorecards suggested. Tommy won pretty easily imo, made Jake Paul look like an amateur. Jake has power, but all he does is looks to land the big right hand, he doesn't really set anything up, he doesn't know how to be the aggressor, he doesn't know what to do when getting pressured, & he gasses out a lot. I think he's still the best of the RUclips boxers out there though, which is why he actually got to the stage where he's fighting a pro. I think this fight just shows that RUclips boxers should just stick to RUclips boxers, there's levels to this. I don't even think Tommy's is all that great, I've never been impressed by him & I don't think his career will go that far (although he's still young & early in his career), but he made Jake look like easy work.
Yeah, I was shocked how easily he beat Jake in every department, Tommy is poor, however, Jake lacks even the fundamentals, he is purely swinging/lunging and hoping.

Now that's an honest and humble response from Tommy Fury!
In another video, persons in the comment section were commending Jake Paul for offering a humble response post-fight. But I disagreed. Jake Paul in his response gave no real credit to Tommy Fury.
Ironically, Tommy Fury, the winner, was far more humble in his victory than Jake was in his defeat.
For instance, just take what he said toward the end:
1. He acknowledged that he himself, with just 9 fights, is still practically a novice in the sport.
2. When asked if he would call Jake Paul a boxer, he said he does consider Jake a boxer, and he credited the work he has done to get himself to this point. But he also acknowledged that there are levels to the sport and he just happens to be a level above Jake Paul.
An Honest, Humble response: the opposite of what Jake Paul offered.
Dawg the amount of comments I saw like “can’t wait to see trash talk gone wrong Tommy fury”.

Tommy showed us the difference between a boxer and a youtube sensation turned boxer. I've never thought Tommy was a great fighter and most will agree, but he's only 23 and this was his 9th fight. IMO I think he dominated the fight. Landed the cleaner shots, more calculated with his shots, not throwing unnecessary shots and his overall work in the ring. However, not taking anything away from Paul. He is sloppy with his shots and comes across as a one trick pony, constantly looking for an overhand right, but is a strong, tough dude who kinda held it together. Well done to both. Congratulations Tommy. Well deserved win ✊️

If Jake Paul was that confident, then he should have said winner takes off. The deal he made he was still getting millions of dollars to fall back on, Tommy was risking everything. I wasn’t a huge Tommy fury fan until now, he had the weight of the world on his shoulders plus the all or nothing money deal.
