- We are blessed to have the musical genius of Jon Farriss joining INXS Access All Areas for a deep dive into his career and life post-INXS touring. “Old world, new world,” you may say. Jon is extra-giving and generous with his thoughts and insights.
Starting in reverse order, Jon shares what life in 2022 is like as he dials in from his magnificent Byron Bay outskirts estate. He discusses what music means to him circa 2022, the songs that he is most proud of from his INXS days, and the importance of a work-life balance.
Often referred to as the George Harrison of INXS, Jon provides some unique insights into the music industry and society as we “don’t” know it and does so with unyielding passion and purpose.
We are delighted to have Jon, the most reclusive member of INXS, joining our deep dive and giving you, the INXS fans a rare forum to get to know the man behind the greatness.

I have gained such a new respect and admiration for Jon Farriss in the past few years. He's not only a great musician...he's a great human being more importantly. Great interview...we need more of these from Jon.

There were many records that I had picked up here and there over the years. The Beatles and Kiss among them. Realizing I'm not that into a lot of music, I pretty much gave them all away. But, if I had found an INXS album, it wouldn’t have left my possession. There's something spiritual about INXS. Keep being analytical and political. God Bless:)

What is a "woke people?" I don't get that saying. I think ppl must be misusing that label all the time. I mean the dude is talking abt not watching news constantly or believing what's just given to us, talking abt not conforming to the norms, being aware of a bigger picture... Some ppl would call that part of the definition of someone who is Endeavoring to be "woke", as in "waking up" to truths not just being brainwashed by mainstream. I feel like conservative media started some confuslon abt the saying "woke" because black ppl we're using it to describe other ppl they thought we're more with it dialed in to truth & of course they haven't shut up using that saying in their diatribes since. Media likes to take things that might be resonating w ppl and pervert it and confuse ppl with it so it doesn't surprise me there are now ppl just misusing the stuff they spew at us. Anyway, maybe the lesson is quite labeling each other and start listening to each other and feeling compassion for each other. The basics.

Not only great to listen to every single week, but to actually see the interview is a treat for sure!
This is my second (maybe third?) time listening to Jon's interview but the first to WATCH it (I usually catch you guys when I'm on the treadmill or running between appointments). Loved seeing all your faces. To be able to watch someone say something heartfelt is the greatest gift. Great insight & appreciate Jon's perspective. Some of my favorite INXS songs came from the Jon-Michael combo. It is affirming to hear & see Jon's deep, poignant appreciation for their collaborative process. Thank you, guys for another terrific listen and can't wait to watch Pt. 2!

I always thought he was hot but this interview just put him over the top. I appreciate that he was willing to go challenge the narrative on climate change and tell people to research for themselves. Love him ❤
