Just FYI for current players: not a great idea to designate your burning characters for Zero to Hundred. You already level fast enough. Using it for non burning characters to get your level 2 links is fantastic.
coppersan my man, there are barely ANY weekly dark world tree and scrapyard weekly quest guides. Good opportunity to teach new players the importance of these quests and how to do them, because information is scarce and hard to find.
I haven't played since the 2000s, and I was completely blown away with how much obsolete content there is. Like, coming out of the story quest as a level 40 and zooming through the first couple of jobs caught me entirely off guard. Fascinating how it feels like the game doesn't really 'start' until the 100-200 levels.

@@notspooky1990 when was it changed? I'm pretty sure when Khali released it still gave more exp than the other days every sunday. I don't remember if it was 50% more or double, but it was quite evident.
Can't decide if I wanna burn a bowmaster or a wind archer.. I have watched videos and they both seem appealing to me. My main character is a marksman. I mainly grind, don't really boss that much (Expect those I can solo). Any suggestions?
If you didn't already know, you can use a Job Advancement Coin to change your Marksman (MM) to a Bowmaster (BM) so that you can test it out first if you like to! And you can always change back - these items just cost mesos. The Wind Archer (WA) is a different class 'family' though (the Cygnus Knights) so you won't be able to do the same trick. BM and WA play kind of similarly to each other, but are both different enough from MM... and both are good at grinding with many projectiles shooting over the map. WA will probably give you slightly more visual/skills/storyline variation though, in comparison to the Explorer archers.
this is a great help. I think I screwed up by choosing latency over community and moving from US Reboot to EU Reboot. the fishing PQ is virtually dead and I haven't really gotten a chance to try it while levelling my link skills.

There’s a purple hammer in the bottom of your inventory that opens the menu to upgrade (star forge) your gear. If it’s a hyper burning charachter: open the burning event menu on the left of your screen. Accept the first reward and open the boxes. At 150 you get pre-upgraded gear. Hope it helps ✌🏻
Just hit 5k legion on Kronos so I can’t play Hyperion but have fun guys! They should have just add more channels tbh because in 5-7 months the no lifers will make it back to 9K legion and it will be Kronos all over again 😅

Shadower/Dual Blade & NightWalker need a bit of funding to get rolling especially with no legion paladin is more of a supporting class so the dmg is lacking a bit but hella tanky

20M mesos and 1K power elixirs as a level 30 reward is absolutely excessive. If there was a MMO that needed a seasonal ruleset server, it would be Maplestory. A fractured playerbase won't be an issue for a game where everybody spends their time solo grinding anyway.
Regular potential scrolls and mystical cubes are so common so it's worth to use them to get the damage boost on your temporary fafnir gear, so that you're strong enough to clear CRA and get the permanent gear
if u have 6th week box from previous event, hyper burning shadower is a good idea as he needs a lot of funding to shine in mobbing, otherwise shad will struggle a bit in sellas/moonbridge onward as leveling is quite fast with this event Hero is strong from the get-go, decent mobbing, insane bossing, no mobility tho I dont play bishop that much so i cant comment on her
Can't go wrong with any of those choices. Hero incredibly strong solo bosser Shad has a very versatile kit and only class in the game to have an increased meso passive. Bishop is an insanely fast leveler with self HS and arguably the most important member of late game boss parties.
I honestly did not like my shadower, I was between him and buccaneer and I regret it. Too many cd to manage plus the bossing skill is really annoying to use as you need to constantly use two skills for more dps.
Burning world allows you to level 3 characters with burning (1+2 levels and all that). However these characters can only be transferred to the non-reboot servers after the burning world period ends. You must reach level 200 on those characters to transfer them or they are lost. All items and money in the character transfer to the new world, but anything in storage is lost I believe. For reboot you are limited to creating this 1 hyper burning character. Pick wisely because while you can delete your burning character to create a new one, you won't get any of the reward boxes that really help the process.
People that are new to the game should not be encouraged to skip as much as possible by burning characters and metagaming all fun out of things, if there is any fun left to have in live Maplestory that is. The sooner they realize how many treadmills exist and how derivative and devoid of interesting mechanics the gameplay is, their illusions will be permanently and irrevocably shattered. Why expedite that process?

Hyperion has some awesome starting rewards right now so it's a great time to start fresh.
your main is already hyper burning, don't use the 0 to 100 on it. Use it to build important link skills that are a pain to level up in the beginning.

1. Made an Adele, had fun.

Just a little extra: on sunday monster park also gives more exp, not only the coupons. Unless they nerfed that too.

Im new to modern GMS and no-one seems to run Ursus when you queue for it. Even in the golden dbl meso time. Seems most people to just solo it.

Ursus was laggy for everyone, even with mid-spec PCs hahaha, I would recommend another try if the rest of the game ran smoothly for you!

With a hyper teleport rock in ur inventory you can just double click any area on the map and get teleported to it. Saves going to a hub town first.
