I was touched by his sweet voice when I was merely a little boy. During our early childhood days Radio was the only medium or source of listening to his music in the radio programme, particularly in the early morning devotional session (programme.) I reckoned him as the sweetest folk singer. Very sweet his voice. No harshness. His style was exceptionally melodious, different from all other folk singers. Later when I became adult I didn't forget him. I came in contact with him and went to his quarter, some distance away from Chiriamore, to learn folk songs under his guidance as a student . I've at present grown aged.. I don't possess adequate breath to sing. I therefore listen to his sweet songs and reminisce those past bygone days when my father and mother both were alive.Now none of them is alive. They were extraordinarily good listeners.
