Yes, I totally agree with you. Every every collector is frustrated right now but we just need to be hopeful that it will come back. Otherwise we need to find some other sources.
I am on and off collector since 2013. I started collecting after I got my job. I would buy only Muscle Mania and HW City cars, that too 1 or 2 at a time. I didn't even know I had bought TH and Super TH cars. Now as time has passed I can afford to buy entire red line collector edition directly from mattel. My advice for young collectors is even one car a month is a really good start. Fear of missing out will always be there, but stick with it. A time will come when you will get the cars you want. Find some reddit groups, build community and grow. Over time you will build an amazing collection that will make you happy. Its like collecting watches, there will always be something you will not get, but the ones that matter to you are the ones with memory attached to it.

Not only saving money bro i would suggest not to focus too much on this hobby..We must spend quality time with our parents, sisters, brothers, go for a movie, chill out with friends, go on in a vacation probably visit a spiritual place and then once we are fresh we can think should we buy anymore or have i collected too much...?? Because we can't keep collecting till life time because that's impractical...Jab tak hai tab tak theek hai. And Regards to savings if we are saving it's not necessary we should spend on diecast only we can spend on books, perfumes, clothes, food and other things...right...?? We can also gift something to our loved ones with our savings right..?? So that we can slowly slowly divert the attention from this hobby or else this hobby will kill us one day.
