Every plane got great camera time during takeoff, so you can imagine I was devastated at not seeing the 747 and the Dreamliner soar into the skies above St Maarten :( Great video, though! ;)
Damn that B757 is an amazing and beautiful plane. I think Boeing would have made a huge favor for the whole aviation community and themselves if they’d made the 757MAX. So many companies would order it and it would be real eye candy for everyone
I've been to St Maarten's airport multiple times (International Airport) and saw the island once. Personally, I lived in nearby St Eustatius for 21 months and St Kitts for 5 months and visited Saba on a dive trip and tour. Honestly people go to St Maarten's to party, which you can do on any island. Consider a smaller less touristy island then take a short hop on Winair or similar liner to the bigger islands or vice versa.
For aircraft spotting is a very popular holiday destination, but the island has much more to offer, has been around and look for at least 3 days each time I've visited St. Maarten (great beaches, restaurants, three towns eg Philipsburg and Margo Gran Case, etc. ., and neighbors island can also highly recommend a trip around to see them
Thank you for sharing this video. I enjoy planespotting!
4:24 The Queen of the Skies..........I love it!
That PAWA´s low pass was amazing.

Insel Air, at 1:20 right engine reverse thruster did not deploy.
:O Just noticed that.
I was wondering why. Is that something the captain has control over, to deploy one or both, or are they both suppose to deploy at the same time?
By the way. Is it just me or does that right engine look a little charred. It looks black. LOL.
From what I understand, he doesn't
Probably just not working, and with the engines being so close to the fuselage it doesn't have any major stability effect only deploying one of them.
What a beautiful video mate! I love this! Liked!
Thank you!

Outstanding.

Forget the rest, what about the Pawa MD-83 takeoff at the end? That wasn't aggressive at all! Very awesome and rare
1:22 only one thrust reverser went up!
Kass B. I think it was to counter the crosswind
What type of plane is the air france plane at 13:52. It's not an a340 is it?

Most of all the B737 in this video have the scimitar winglet :o plus was this video uploaded before the 747's last flight or is it after?
KLM 747 stopped with flights to St. Maarten October 2016, the video is taken late April - only in May 2016.
9:48 B757 or A321?
757
you can tell by how long and skinny it is and the a320 windshield is split the boeing planes are usually connected with the exeption of the 787
14:18 what private jet is that?
Johnny Martinez Learjet 45
It is not a lear 45 it is a cessna citation

Thanks You, no, unfortunately I had a microphone with from the company Red and it did not work, so I had to content with the built-in microphone
seem like the APU exhaust on the Insel Air is awfully black isn't it?
Has anyone been to this island. Whats it like ? Any special sights to see ?

Why bluejet a320 dont depart and return to the gate? Min 11:29.
there was no info from towers on the radio ?
Yeah, he makes early turns and not at very end of runway however. Something wrong with the engine or something?
What happened? I didn't see anything!
great video
a like from me
Thanks
por q no despego jet blu
I guess there was some issue from switching APU to engine thrust or something, hard to tell but I'm pretty sure I didn't hear any spooling
1:23
reverse only on enige 1 ?!
Yes !
2:51 never knew the 737 max was in production yet
johan274 It's just a normal 737, but with scimitar winglets
johan274 And the engines are normal 737s
Why do people go to St. Maarten? To watch planes land??
nice beaches, it's a pretty decent caribbean destination. planes are a nice plus for aviation enthusiasts
For aircraft spotting is a very popular holiday destination, but the island has much more to offer, has been around and look for at least 3 days each time I've visited St. Maarten (great beaches, restaurants, three towns eg Philipsburg and Margo Gran Case, etc. ., and neighbors island can also highly recommend a trip around to see them
Yes. HUNDREDS DO! EVEN ME!! I could ask, Why are you watching this video?
Mooiste leiukste airport
Pawa dominicana early touchdown
gostei muito
I think the fighter pilots at PAWA would have done a barrel roll over the beach if they could have. Nice job boys!
cool
some takeoffs in the opposite direction....
You need to put a wooly hat over that michrophone next time.
Exactly !
wow the 787 quite cant believe that lol
You should've used the GoPro the entire time. The Sony sucked.
