Philippine Arena is so huge, so if you are human and it's your first time performing in a massive stage as big as a basketball court in front of 30k++ crowd, it would be daunting, so it's understandable to have some jitters, especially with the palpable excitement in the air. If you will watch the performance to enjoy the moment, then it's a very commendable performance overall, taking everything into consideration, they were able to showcase the essence of the song, the music, the lyrics and the dance that came with it, they were able to show something that shouts FILIPINO. Of course, there will always be people who will nitpick on the performance and concentrate on the fails, never seeing the triumphs, but who cares for people like that? Remember ALAMAT's song ABKD? Those people will always see the bad regardless of the many good points. ALAMAT did great on that performance, but MO's composure while singing is on another level. He just gets better with time (please cover R&B dogs in your next IG live). Alas also did great in his rap. It's also good that their dance coach was there with them in their performance (please correct me if it's not coach Jim Amen behind them, I thought it was him). Overall it was a proud moment to be a Magiliw and a Filipino! Keep on slaying ALAMAT!!!

sana po well-rested kayo lagi bago mag perform, kahit sa anong klaseng crowd pa po.. minimize eating sweets or cold drinks especially before performance. malaki pa room for improvement, salamat ng marami sa sipag nyo at dedikasyon para lang maipakita sa buong mundo ang kulturang Pilipino.
I still think HALA would have been a better choice. Even tho its not as popular as maharani but it fits the occasion and its a great anthem. People would have been hyped and impressed. Wasted opportunity. Pro laban lang, at least they got to perform, though its not their best foot forward.
Also theres nothing wrong with not singing live. They dont have to prove anything sa singing, Even Apl the Ap wasnt singing live sa SEA games. They just have to make it not obvious.
While they were performing , nasa edge lang ako ng seat ko praying that walang pipiyok. Did I enjoy it? The performance did not give me anything new, parang na stress lang ako medyo lol.
I love Alamat, and I only hope the best for them pero siguro I expected A LOT MORE from them more imaginative and awe inspiring pa.
Lets be honest - only the OG magiliws can appreciate the performance - did it bring more crowd in? siguro hindi.
I think they did great and the visuals and vocals were on point. Not just saying that just because they’re the best ppop boy band ever🤎💕
I agree that HALA would have been a better choice pero I think nasa management or organizers din ang last say. Maharani is good for opening act but better talaga na hype song yung last sa arrangement which is yung HALA if last sila nag perform. Then, I noticed din na they maximized the floor area, kung baga nag effort sila sa blocking additional hingal then live vocals pa! Overall, they did great with that performance 🥰Manifesting for more exposure and opportunities to perform for Alamat! 🙏🤎
I agree with this. Kala ko nga talaga HALA ang ipe perform nila eh. I am a magiliw and I wanna give me my honest (and maybe unpopular) opinion
(+) slay ang outfits as always, ok din na maximized nila ang dance area basketball court ba naman yung kailangan nila punuin
(-) however with that being said, syempre mas hingal sila sa movements kaya mejo nag suffer siguro yung vocals. I appreciate and proud of them singing live. But this will be shown internationally, so siguro dapat binalanse ang movements and vocals. Napanood ko yung rehearsal sa official Alamat YT and that could’ve been better. Baka nasamahan na din ng kaba.

Maharani is a great choice since it can resonate to alot of listeners lalo na RnB ang music whereas kung Hala hindi lahat resonated or bet ung ganung music genre/style unless kung may 2nd set na song pa sana sila then sure why not..
Kahit naman po kasi magandang anthem ang HALA, (not minding the popularity) hindi naman po nababagay mostly ang lyrics nya lalo na sa mga verse after the 1st for this kind of opening. yung 1st and last verse lang po ata ang maganda iperform dyan.weird naman kung yun lang ipeperform nila, hindi pa kasama chorus. (Parang nakikipag- away po kasi ang lyrics)
Si Tomas ang pinaka stable at control sa mga boses nila, alam niya yun at alam nilang lahat un. Kaya feeling ko sobra sobrang lake ng pressure nia

Hinihintay ko talaga ito! Bagay talaga sila sa international mapapakilala culture natin. Sana kapag live piliin na mas kumanta sa part nila kaysa galingan sumayaw or very minimal dance muna ang singer, alam naman natin gaano kahirap dance nila kakahingal. I think ok lang naman na ganun kasi keri naman ng charisma.
Sobrang nakakakaba talaga kapag malaking stage parang gusto mong isigaw para mapuno yung space.

True. Sa performance nato most evident ang hingal kay Tomas, sya pa naman ang maraming parts dito. Ginalingan sobra sa sayaw kaya madaling hiningal plus kaba pa. Talagang makikita yung kagustuhan nilang maipakita kung anong kaya ng ALAMAT.

@@simplegirlJJ nagcocomment ako ng mga ganito kasi hoping na mabasa ng management nila. Kasi nung una wala talaga supporting vocals sa background music ng mga live nila sobrang nakakakaba yun. Siguro kasi expected na dapat kinakanta nila lahat. Kung more accepting yung fans na ok lang yung ganito ganyan edi siguro mas willing yung management gawin to help Alamat until the day na talagang No need for those na kasi mamamaster na ng mga ginoo.

Medyo may problem nga ang performance na ito dahil naover ung pagkakanta nila sa simula kaya pumiyok si Tomas. Mas nagstick na lang sana sila sa original version nila. Basta lesson learned na lang ito. Nawa mas mag improve pa sila sa susunod. Sa tingin ko ailangan pa nila ng abdominal strength training para mabawasan ang hingal.

Aww, alamat. Sobrang hingal niyo. Sana well rested kayo lagi right before you perform. Sayang yung moment e, isang song lang chance niyo dito. And hindi ito ang unang beses na ganyan hingal niyo sa live. You also performed longer sa ppop con but that was better. Sana ma address niyo yung issue.
They failed their biggest audition kung ganyan exposed ang panira talaga sa tenga ng casuals yung pumugak si Tomas di pa sila ready sa big stage talaga na they can proved beyond sa fans nila na pro seasoned na sila. Okay magkamali pero when it matters tulad nga diba ng audition dilang basta yung effort mo best pati performance mo best walang sabit. Sa Ppopcon may backing tracks sila kasi kaya mag on off man sila sa pagkanta oks lang.
Of course maganda nmn talaga lahat ng boses nila. Pero para sakin as my observation as a fan, need talaga nila ng more training for live vocals/performance kasi that's the importance nowadays mas hinahanap ng viewers how the artists attack during live performances.
I've been a fan of other international groups, sobrang busy rin nila pero if may tamang training smooth talaga ang result.
I agree. Also, sa last couple of weeks lang we lost 60k + monthly listeners sa spotify and were losing more everyday, for what ever reason ewan.
In this fandom we need tough love, more so lately. This opportunity was a very big deal. Proper precautions sana, and tricks that artist does when performing on such a huge stage ang inisip na gamitin. They look so tiny sa court, no one will care if they used any tricks with such a huge moment.
@@Bidyos238 yes. And ayan na naman tayo sa camera angle ng pinoy, they don't know where to catch important scenes halos hindi malaman kung sinong kumanta kasi ang dark ng lighting 😩 kahit red yung damit nila, ang stage lighting is kulang parin.
@@jjlab4122 yeah. i mean mostly sa vocals. They can sing better than what they did in this performance. Pero because of konting piyok from tomas is a huge impression. Lalo na I think atleast 85-90% of ppl from the arena dont know anything about Alamat- they were there for basketball. First impression is very important, that will decide if they want to hear more. Just look at the views from this video - not a lot of people want to check out the performance again. Anyway hanggang reklamo nalang tayo haha. It is what it is.

Yung kelangan talaga ipractice ng Alamat ay yung stamina training. MNL48 lang ang alam kong PPop group na hindi hinihingal sa pagpeperform. yes I've seen the girlies perform No Way Man live. Grabe mas ako pa ang hiningal sa kanila. Trained kasi ang lahat ng 48 sister group sa stamina para stable vocals nila kahit sumasayaw.(try nyo guys manood ng live performances nila dito sa YT) Kaya sana yun pa ang mas ipraktis ng Alamat. The only PPOP group I'm supporting is Alamat and MNL48 (pero mukhang magdidisband na din sila 😭 ang shitty kasi ng management nila)

That was a great number. THE CLOTHES DIDNT DISAPPOINT. There certainly was struggle but nevertheless, everyone pulled through. It's so not easy to dance ALAMAT choreos while live singing. Like seriously lol we know how complicated some of their choreos are. Kudos to the boys!
SPECIAL MENTION: ALAS' RAP WAS FIRE. Alas live singing will never disappoint. He's got monstrous rapping vocals.

I love maharani, but not my choice for their fiba performance. Its a sporting event, so mejo off kase love song sya. I would have chosen kasmala or hala instead.
ako din pero momentum kasi ni queen maharani kaya sya pinili + very tribal datingan ng choreo with the instrumental. hala is for bashers kya gnun kaangas, doesn't blend with the other performers. kasmala as a tribute to our athletes ang pinaka bet ko pero mas matindi ung choreo ska need moooore time iadjust ung choreo 8 pa sila nun dba. or abkd din sana very motivational with easier choreo. pero un nga, hail the queen ❣
