Another good place for old books is the library! My local libraries all have a free table or cart with ones they are cycling out and most of them are quite old, which is why they are getting rid of them to start with. Sometimes they do a big book sale also where they're 50 cents to a dollar 🙌
Yes! My local library even hosted a $2-a-bag sale where you can stuff as many books as you want into a brown paper bag for only…you guessed it, $2! I jam packed my bags with a ton vintage books since they were literal cents 😁

I love anything old, vintage, worn & weathered. I love mixing organic textures. There is nothing prettier in Spring than flowers planted in an old clay terra cotta pot🌷🌼 or more romantic than a vintage floral print dish set 🤍

Lovely spring touches. The colorful green glass, the baskets and flowers, and especially the books are always my favorites. I like the garden books....your Betty Crocker Kitchen Garden book is actually rather pricey nowadays. If someone finds it thrifting...grab it ladies! I like Peter Rabbit with the original illustrations, also, and have a few myself. They are sweet.

Thank you so much! Don’t be sorry we chose to have it in the living room because it’s so stunning in this room we wanted it in here to look at everyday and hold all our our beautiful dishes! It would of been hidden back in our bedroom so we decided it needed to be a main focal point in the living room instead ♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for the Peddler Mall info. I go to the one in Morehead, Winchester, Lexington, Richmond, & Georgetown a few times a year. Those are all within 2 hours for me. My son goes to Marshall University in Huntington. I had no idea they had a Peddler Mall. You can bet I’m going to find it though. 😂
