Reminds me of 10 year old self getting books on Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Marine Life in the school library and one of the animals in the book that sparked my interest were Ichtyosaurs like the elegant Ichtyosaurs like the Ichtoyosaurus and Delphinosaurus and the gigantic Ichtyosaurs Shonisasurus and Temnodontosaurus

Even with rapier thin teeth, Cymbospondylus are not to be messed with.

They essentially filled the same niche.
Thalattoarchon and Cymbospondylus were not similar in behaviour.....

Shaggy Cymbospondylus mainly hunted fish and cephalopods. Thalattoarchon was a full-on apex predator, similar to orcas.
