It still saddens me that she never really got the buffs she needed, I do think she's a lot better than she was at launch but when you really look at her from an objective standpoint, she's really just mediocre at best and not worth the effort. In fact most of the bad characters in this game got incredibly inconsequential and negligible buffs in patches and really aren't much better than they were on day 1 of ultimate's lifespan.

I hate being a Bayo main that constantly asks for buffs because people who fear SSB4 Bayo (rightfully so) tend to misconstrue my words and end up implying that I want her to be reverted back to her SSB4 incarnate when I just want her to be functional and fair. It’s so strange how people chastised Bayo and Bayo mains for simply existing in SSBU only for 90% of the character roster to be able to do exactly what she could do back in SSB4: combo you to death/near-death… like, make it make sense???
Yes it's so sad, I love bayo but is very dysfunctional and if you don't do a perfect combo you can't kill, even if your enemy is +200%. I'm trying out ice climbers just for win some matches. (Also training desync combos which are insane lol)
I live in a constant state of turmoil, do I play bayo and rage every game cause weak bair doesn’t kill jigglypuff at ledge till 800% or that I die at 40 to cheese or any other characters up smash out of shield that bayo also doesn’t have.
i literally got so mad when i played as her earlier that i made a whole rage essay about how much she sucks... the only "true" combo she that i can actually do is heel slide witch twist x2 forward air x3💀
Her nerfs was unnecessary. She needed a buff on some things actually. When Madama butterfly stomps. It should ground them just like how it did in the Bayonetta 1 and 2

the thing is Bayonetta is in a relatively balanced state in a game were most characters are broken
Honestly a good buff to witch time I think would go a long way.

Nevermind still sticking with Bayonneta despite all her flaws. She is still fun to play as, but will definitely be looking for a secondary.
