I have tried different rackets in the spin-line incl. Vcore 98, Pure Aero etc. I return every time to the SX 300. It is more soft, better kontrol and have a lot of power and spin. It is really good on the serve and on the groundstrokes. Swings very easy and is very stable also for one-hander backhand. You get so much more for the money

Hi There, For this playtest both frames were strung with Head Hawk Touch 17 @51lbs. I agree at a quick glance they look quite similar, but you should give them a try they actually do play and feel quite different! -Richard
Hi Scott, The Pure aero 2023 has actually improved on this. They have dropped the stiffness rating to 65 which is the exact same stiffness as a Wilson Pro staff 97. If you have ever played with that frame and your ok with the stiffness, maybe you could look into giving the pure aero 2023 another shot! - Richard.

The pure areo is an arm killer. Nothing about it is feeling soft. People trying to emulate the rafa setup end up in the hospital.
The 1st gen areo gave me tennis elbow and sidelined me for 3 months. And that was stringed with synthetic gut at 52lbs

I think, playing with RPM blasts or similar have something to do with that. Use a more arm firm dot string perhaps.
