I’ve been making this cake for 50 years and where ever I take it there is never a crumb left. My mom made it for our family for many years also. She added a tsp of cinnamon which takes it over the top and I do the same.
A perfect breakfast with all that butter and sugar 😯 The frosting sets as it’s left to cool because the butter solidifies. Looks yummy but omg so much of the bad stuff 😂
Going thru my divorce I made this every night, 1/2 recipe, 8X8, at 2 am eating it a the table. I made 1/2 thinking I’d eat less. I lost 20 lbs. and this is the best chocolate cake around.
