INFLATION = loss of purchasing power DOLLAR LESS POWERFUL costs more dollar to buy same products goods or services.
YOU THEN GET LESS FOR PAYING MORE.
Loss of purchasing power also = LOSS OF WAGES because your wages have less value in inflation.
