Sparkling wines undergo a secondary fermentation to create their bubbles. There are two popular methods for making sparkling wine. The tank method which is popular in prosecco and then there's the traditional method which is used in champagne.
Our wine today is fruity, lean and linear. And that means the winemaker used the Tank method.

Nice change-up. Good & fun education as always. Never would have guessed a sparkler from 🇦🇷 though! 🥂

surely the biggest difference between tank and bottle ferment is pressure rather than lees - final pressure (if you get it right) after ferment is far higher in bottle method thus the far finer bubble and texture. Besides there is nothing to stop lees stirring in tank either.

Wow, I would’ve never guessed Argentina as a matter of fact, I didn’t guess Argentina ha ha ha! I got everything but the region however, now I’m going to be on the lookout for a sparkling wine from there to see how I like it since I don’t associate sparkling with Argentina. Thanks for a great educational video.
