Love to see something finished
Amen to that still waiting!
I'm trying to understand where friend, Jim, is coming from. I think he wants to see Chad get something finished
Don't we all?
Jim is in the house and within the first minute we are laughing. Gota love him!
Do any of these cars actually get finished?
To funny they love hearing that and proving people wrong
@@mikeskanes5243 you're not serious , I have been watching him for years now and just a guess like he has buildings full of I guess 40 or 50 finished and I am guessing that could be way low .
Well this will be an interesting car. Not sure if the boxy roof will work with the body lines but it isn't my car. I had to laugh that there is already talk about a third Bugatti. Meanwhile #1 and #2 still aren't finished. I would love to see some of the cars from the last two years come farther along rather than to see more started.
Seems desperate to be different
friend of mine does this might have 20 going all at once and we jump around to this one then go over there and work on that one then over here and there and then we have 20 more going and we go from here to there and then to that one and then over here , then 20 years later we are like yea we had that car we worked on Haha hey look we got 20 more, its funny, and at the same time its fun, and when they come together Yeap 20 more,
I suggested a 95 Chrysler LHS roof.
Bugatti 1 was started in 2016....
I'm thinking it world look more like a factory one off if he just extended the original roof to the back.
At 48:00 "Wheel nuts on backwards".... Sorry Chad, Jaguars of this era had tapers on both ends of the wheel nuts so no matter which way they were put on they were correct. To aid assembly by the roadside after a puncture in the dark, perhaps? Also wheel bolt pattern fits Lincoln mid sixties as well. As a 50 year enthusiast of these early models in Australia, I'm a little unsettled to see this car customized, but better than rusting away waiting for a restorer, and it seems the customizing had already begun before your acquisition, judging by the firewall and underside of the bonnet {sorry, 'hood'}. All the best, and welcome to contact me about any of the finer details of how these cars were originally put together.
Hi Chad, ...Before you start cutting the roof on the Jaguar, take a peak at photos of the mid-'50's Nash Rambler wagons. They added the wagon extension back of their station wagons to a sedan in a smooth transition by leaving the sedan's "C" post and merging the "C" post of the 4 door wagon to the sedan. The front part of the new hybrid still showed some curve yet the back part became squarish and the two parts melded beautifully.
Jimbo is a legend ,what a relief Bad Chads Back.
Like the show but...would really like to see some finished
All British car's before the early 70's where British standard imperial measurements, plus jaguar only made sport's, saloon, limousine and coffin carriers / Hurst car, by the late 80's the start of the 90's estate cars started to appear in the jaguar line-up.
Now what is left of the so called British car manufacturers are all European metric measurements.
Seeing the creativity of you, the jaguar will be a jagtate to esuar (jag/uar, es/tate) of creativity.
Nomater the outcome of the end result the finished product will be a bad Chad creation for all of us to see and appreciate the beautiful creative finished art.
A car to appreciate the creative ability of Chad and the beautiful video art from Jolene.
That Jag is good enough for an original restoration. Not happy about cutting the roof off.
@@electrix6751 Yes it's a shame to cut it about. That's a rare piece of British history. If the roof comes off I may just unsubscribe.
Just a car
Soon as I heard his plan I thought a bunch of British car restorers will be getting very pissy about this…..
I think most car guys get squeamish when someone cuts off a perfectly good roof of a solid restorable car. I think most wouldn't be upset if the roof was caved in or rusted out.
@@OldsmobileCutlass1969Va
that makes sense.
I mostly live out west. We don’t even think about rust issues or lack of old iron. .
Just an old car. Chop it up.
I cannot watch this beautiful rare jag get ripped apart
When will one of those cars see the road ?
Lots of there projects are always finished
Oh the fun keeps coming! Got to love a concept build from Chad. A little wisdom from Jim is a good thing too.
Keep the same roof and move the A piller to the B piller. And make it a 2 door, with a long front end.
Or a no post and suicide the doors.
Glad to see Jim again hope to see him more
This will be interesting, but I was hoping for more progress on the Bugatti or Elvis. He still has to get the truck and racecar done by late summer. Jolene keeps the video going for us all.
Bad Chad said until they find the next engine they’re going to use there really isn’t much he can do on the Bugatti !! The Bugatti build is built around the engine which makes a lot of sense to me !!
"Since we're doing such a good job, God might grant us an extra lifetime", I would love to hang out with Jim for a day 👍😁
Always good to see Jim. Look forward to a new build.
My own personal opinion. I think it would look much more stylish if you cut the original roof at about the window post, then move the rear of the original roof back and fill in the middle section on the top and extend the original roof you cut off down to meet the trunk, so it stays flat but curved at the top. That would keep some of the original curves but make a unique looking wagon version. Adding a unique woody rear door and some woodie style paneling for the side doors. That would be a very cool woodie wagon. Make it a true concept car.
Always great to see Jim
It would be nice to see a couple projects get finished.
Yes it would, has an excuse for everything... Jolenes car is more than 4 years into the build and still not finished.. her frustration must be huge but she is to nice to bitch about it.. glad he isn't building me a car I'd be dead before he had it done.
Spot On Jim! That Happens Every Time I Want To Make Room In My Garage To Work On A Project!
So this one was video before the bumper been cleaned and chromed 👍👍
I can’t wait to see the Chaduar when it’s done all though I am also not seeing how the square roof will jive with the round body
Interesting project!
Always great when Jim is in the house!
He brings a different perspective to the show ! Old Jim gets a thumbs-up 👍
nice to see Jim again
Chad and Jolene, I love the new design. Totally excited and can’t wait. Best of luck on your new build. I know you will really enjoy this new challenge. You are so talented.
REMEMBER AND HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON GUYS AND GALS
Very cool look forward to seeing it a vista cruiser roof would look cool
Chad can design, and fabricate enough custom cars to keep 5 or 10 body shops busy fulltime finishing them.
A new concept build. More fun for Chad and Jolene. Aidyn is visiting. Jim P is in the house today too :)
Good to see Jim over again 👍
Let's start a new project. Before completing an old project.
Nice to see Jim again.
I'm loving all the different projects. Even though I can't keep up.. lol
Jim Bo in the House.
sooo, wouldn't drawing a picture of the planned build be useful ? Or, do you prefer the "suprise" method ? Just wondering if the result is actually going to look better than the original Jag.... Of course, it will be another great example of skilled metal working, regardless. That squared off station wagon roof does not seem to "blend" with the rounded, curvy style of the Jaguar ?
A roof off a similar era car would work much better.
Have the top be totally square and the body curvy. So make the top exactly like a boxy chevy 70s car welded onto the bottom half.
Great to see everyone back! Looks like a sweet project to start the new shows with!
Good to see you, Jim
This will be a great build
Oh boy...might I make a suggestion?... Just cut the jags roof, move it back, fill in the middle, and chop it all down 4 inches
Oh my this should be fun , glad to see you are able to get outdoors at last and to have Jim on hand today always great to see him .
Wunderful to see Jim, as he talks about taking things slower and one project at a time, meanwhile Chad's thinking on so many projects! Chad certainly has a creative demon inside him that just wants to keep creating. Like Jimbo said, Chad is happiest fabricating, I believe that. Chad you looked god setting inthe Jag, pull that roof down a bit and you will have a BAD CHAD sled that would be so cool to cruise. NEVER STOP DREAMING
Welcome back again, nice to see Jim at it also.
We enjoy watching you and Jim interact.....
Well said Jim you hit the nail on the head and it's great to see the both of you working again together
Great vid, really enjoyed!!!! 👍👍👍
Wow there just no end to it is there...just when ya think there's a Lall in the program Chad pulls a rabbit out of his hats of many projects 😳 oh I can't wait to see what you do to this .... happy you 2 had a great holiday ....
another project started, when do we see a car finished
All this show is about now is starting projects ,, he does great work as he uses basic tools. Indeed he has completed some but the shows venue has changed as he had a team to do it with .. today its basically sharing ideas about sitting rusted parts and making something out of it .. I wasted time watching and hoping that the other 3 or 4 would be completed by now. Unfortunately it’s not ..I see that now .. would have love to see Jolene and her Bugatti on the road .
Nice to see Jim back again he is a blast and great video
Chad, you seem to so live the creation process that have more projects on the go than I can keep up with.
Wow!
Will be interested in how this will come out he has such a vision for these cars and builds them with whatever he has around
I'm excited for this build 👍👍
I couldn't mix a square body roof with a round bodied car. No body but Bad Chad for this one. Personally a round bodied wagon grafted with that round bodied Jag would be super cool an one of a kind, for sure. I'm not feeling the mix myself. One man's opinion!!! If anyone can pull it off though, Ole Bad Chad can. Gitter dun Bad Chad! Keep on Motoring brother!!!
I am so glad you are back. Thank you Chad and Jolene for everything that you do, you are the best of the best.
How about finishing one of your other numerous builds first? I'm kinda giving up on the channel; its not going anywhere.
I think the stock roof cut below the rear glass at the trunk line around and above the the doors and slide it back reskin the top to make a wagen
What's the point in starting another project.
Looking forward to the video 👍
Jim is quite the philosofer :)
I would love to work along side of you. Keep up the great work all of you 🚘🏍🏎
so this video was made before the flexible chrome bumper? I thought these were live, or at least the day of posting.
Chad, I’m Loosing Track!!.
Since I started watching your Chanel a few months ago, (& love it by the way) you have started (1)Jolene’s car, (2)Elvis, (3) the primer gray Coup, (4) The truck to pull the race car, (5) the race car, (6) the red coupe, (7) the hot wheels car, and now a station wagon???
This is going to be gold
Finally some nice weather ! The Jag looks like an interesting project
Everytime I watch your channel I see the views of were you live and think I’d love to live there 🥰
Glad to see you back.
This is going to be an awesome build thanks chad and jolene
Jolene, Chad you need to start a museum. All of your collection. It would bring people up to your area to plan a vacation. You have some wonderful country side to view and some other places to visit on your tours when you drove around.
Chad love your creativity and work, but, another project?? Poor Jolene won't have her Bugatti finished for this summer. I'm boggled
Maybe the wedding isn't supposed to take place this year? Her car won't be finished unless Chad hires a crew!
One thing about it Chad will never be bored.
Hey Chaddy bring Jimbo to Motoramawould love to meet him ,he is such a character
New projet ,why not. thanks for the video
Looking forward to see this!
Nike to see Jim. Cant wait to see what you do with this next
Great idea. I think it will work if it measures. That's all variable.
Have to watch walking around in the woods ,the little trees get yah
I like that jaguars going to look like an awesome station wagon
I just watched a video Chad of you walking through a warehouse filled with the cars you have built...I do remember watching the episode of the 4 door Cadillac being made into a 2 door but at the end you sold the car..but now it's in the warehouse..was wondering what that was about...PLEASE keep up the great work..being following you for quite some time...
That would not be the right move to but that flat square roof on that car
I'm getting back in the routine after laptop rebuild at same time you were both gone. Great day!
I think a Jaguar station wagon will be so cool go for it Chad.
Can not wait to see this transformation !! Boom
Nothing like putting a turd on the Mona Lisa
LIKE IT
👍👊
Your mind just blows me away
Weather looks great out there, nice here in Vegas as well.
A concept drawing would be nice to see
I think this a bad fit - a very square early 70´s longroof with very very straight lines and then one of the most round cars out there - the jaguar from ´59. It does seem like one of the baddest match ever. Sorry just my 2 cents.
What a wild idea!🤯🤯🤯
Im gonna love this one especially chopped you go bad Chad🤘🤘🤘🤘
Well...this is definitely different but I'm interested to see where Bad Chad fabrication takes it...good to see Jimbo back in the mix...cool episode
it will be the first jaguar station wagon ever made. waiting to see it done.
Jaguar made station wagons. They did not look good or sell.
Like the videos Jolene
I love the idea of putting the station wagon top on the Jag
The Jag roofline is the only bad looking part of the car
Will be sweet. Love watching and learning. Thanks for the hard work you two
Another challenge, got to have some fun. Great to see everyone back at it!
