When Robot and his Brother Scott lived in my house they had 2 of my 3 car garage filled with stuff. It was justice that they cleaned the garage up so I can fit 3 cars in it now. Lots of my tools went to a good homes. Dad
Thanks Robot... good to know what the ace scooter mechanic has in his shed. And enjoyable to read your Dad's comment just below mine. Joe, Perth Australia.
We waited a long time for this and boy was it worth it. What a collection man. I always wanted a Gilera Runner 180cc, almost bought one, then bought a PGO G-MAX 125, which was a cool wee scooter, think it is branded as Generic in the States. Wanted a Vespa Rally 200 after reading Peter Moores "Vroom with a view". I remember those Dymo tape dispensers well, used them at our work place back in the day, they even brought out an electric version. Thanks for the tour, so interesting. :))
IRISHROVER sure enjoyed this video...OCD for scooters. I have the old DYMO stamper labeled and the newer one the prints the tape. The more I learn about the BV350 the more I’d like one. Maybe tomorrow!
I just got the runner 180 2 stroke version 10 days ago and it is so good very light and very fast, mine is all original 98 model with the drum brake back and the funny thing is the drum brakes even stronger than the disc in the front! I highly recommend it!
Great vid Robot, thanks for inviting us into your garage. I race enduro bikes mainly KTMs, but my daily ride is a GTS300. I’ve owned all manner of bikes over the years and enjoyed them all in their own way. Your Original Rally is my favourite in your garage 👍
"Nothing special", he says. (Shows Honda CB-1 and clean Yamaha RD-350, among some fairly trick scoots.) I'd call that One Interesting Garage, sir. (Oh, the couch…love it. As someone else famously kinda-sorta said, I think it…ties the garage together.)
Nice collection and garage! I once had a collection of BMWs and Ducatis but now ride a modded pre-unit iron barrel Enfield Bullet. I have an eye for the BV as my next bike when I pass the 70 mark.
Hey Robot, cool collection. I own a bunch of motorcycles and a couple of vintage Vespa's. I wanted to pick your brain on a solution for a Kymco Super 9 I am trying to get running. Trouble is mostly in the electronic choke (I think). Wanted to see if you had any good ideas for a manual choke that would work for a carb replacement that has liquid cooling running through the carb. The scooter has less than a few thousand miles and really in good shape save for the carb issue.
I love this collection of bikes. You have the exact taste as me! Dont kno what i like best. Either the rallye 200 or the dyno machine! Probably the vespa tho. Cool. The perfect garage
Great garage, Robot. You're absolutely right about the skill required for off-road biking. I've ridden street bikes and vintage Vespa's for the last 10 years and finally decided to give off-road a go. So much more involved than street, 3D is a very good way go describe it. I had a dual sport bike which I found too slow and heavy so got rid of it. Street bikes are more my thing, I'll never get rid of my smallframe Vespa and can't justify a 3 bike garage whilst I dont actually have a garage. One day I'll add a dedicated dirt bike to it.
Among all those bikes and scoots, I see one Battery Tender Jr. on the back wall. I wonder which machine is lucky to get the juice and whether the batteries are removed from the others.
Nice one Robot! I think it's great you finally posted your personal collection of bikes and why you chose them. We often wonder what two wheeled tragic's like yourself love to ride and why. I can relate with all those bikes from the ridiculous Gilera 2 screamer, Two wheeled "Jeeps" (dirt bikes) classic Vespas and finally pragmatic BV. Great vid :) Do you own a four wheeled vehicle? Show and tell.
I have a Chinese scooter. The mad mechanic cut the main harness. What your recommendation. Wish I could afford a aprilia or vespa but the would cost thousands of dollars to ship and maintain
I am watching your old videos of DIYs and I only now seen these one, sweet!! Is the typhoon 125/150 or is it 50cc? Would you do a "robot review" on that runner 180? I think a lot of people would enjoy it! That's a special special scooter, especially here in Europe. I had a lot of those, and now have Runner VX 125 swaped to 250cc GTS vespa engine 😂 Nice collection man 😁
Ahhhh the Runner! Is that a FXR or a SP 180 Excellent 2 stroke machine that was banned from the Europe market due to not good brakes the scooter was so fast that the brakes just couldn’t stop it. SP was struggling to stop but FXR had a drum on the back instead of the disc brake imaging the brake time to stop the FXR on that Scooter haha. They sell now for big money in Europe as they are hard to come by and nothing like that was made afterwards. They had a 4 stroke 180 it was called VXR180. Good old memories :)
Sorry if these questions have been asked and answered before. About you, why "Robot"? Where did the name come from? About Vespas, what is the vent on the front for? Not knowing anyone with one and not being able to inspect one, I thought I'd ask. Sorry if I'm uninitiated!
The RD monster love it I definitely have to visit your shop I'm 52 year's old been building bikes since age 9 I'm that guy in Los Angeles that use to put Mac 101b chainsaw motors on my minibikes I'm the 1st person in the USA to have a Nija-900 or ZX-9 when they were the fastest production bike ever built back in 1980s while almost breaking my ankle kick starting my 1987 YZ-490 wheeeeew nevertheless I'll love to have that runner 180 if you not doing much with it🤓
As being an experienced guy....Could you tell me. Are Honda (2 wheeler scooter) engines better than Vespa piagio ones? Especially considering current production. Thanks
Definitely! Honda engines are better made due to Japanese "focused" craftsmanship. Vespa engines are not bad, but over-engineering thus cause minor troubles while being expensive to repair. Just like Ferrari versus Honda Accord. You would not count on Ferrari for daily commuting and errands. A simple fact, The CVT driving belts on Vespas are supposed to be changed every 7500 miles(= 12000 kilometers) while even the CVT belts on my Kymco scooters are deemed to be changed every 20,000 kilometers (= 12500 miles). Actually, I rode over 30000 kilometers to have my CVT belt snapped while repairing is readily available everywhere locally at US$ 29 for both parts snd labor. It would cost at least US$ 72 to replace CVT belts on a Vespa locally. Vespa parts are not that easily available in Taiwan even though adjacent to Vietnam, a major manufacturing site of Vespa scooters in the world.
My Kymco scooter has reliable engine as good as Honda's thou not that delicate in sound. Mine is 1993 year model bought "used" in 1998 for daily commuting without much care. Taiwan is a densely populated island with 20 million scooters/bikes ridden by 23 million people. A garage is a luxurious item for local people. So most scooters/bikes are parked on roadside with locks on newly bought ones. So scooters are regarded as work horses in Taiwan. I hardly encountered engine trouble on my Kymco scooter while regarding current SYM scooters to have better engines due to local competition.
That is so cool robot I happen to have the same thing I founda my dad's garage it currently has red tape in it but I've got three other colors of brand-new tape it's all 70s it's cool
Dam you how much you want for the runner 180? wish they sold the Dragster125/180 here I been riding scooters since the beginning of the 1980s my first scooter was a 1984 Honda Aero much faster than my 1977 Puch nevertheless I love 2 Stroke scooters they make real Gp racing cylinders and suspension for all of them models 😁
Gillera runner!!!!! There was an amazing influx back in the day..in London... amazing scooter!! As a traditional mod, I have a silver grey Vespa PX anniversary 125.. obviously with the brown seat and matching bag etc... Just wanted to say that Robot I think you're a complete legend, and respected here on the queen's turf!!!.. spoke about you with fellow scooterists this past weekend (Brighton festival of mods)...all the dudes love your scooter passion Take care and ride safe my friend..as we say in England KTF (keep the faith).... Cheers Wayne
Just one thing wrong with this garage, it is not mine. But I have noticed in the last few years that my nerve is getting a little thin. No excuses however I am a 1949 vintage my self. Yesterday I spent 3 hours riding my KTM 350 EXC-F on dirt . I like the RD those wear world beaters for a very long time.
Ride a P200 disc, it goes off road, she loves kicking up dust, goes on the highway, and goes great at the beach, not so good in the soft sand, but wet sand, she flies. You should have built a bigger garage robot!
When Robot and his Brother Scott lived in my house they had 2 of my 3 car garage filled with stuff. It was justice that they cleaned the garage up so I can fit 3 cars in it now. Lots of my tools went to a good homes. Dad
That's what Dads do for their boys. Take care sir. :)
I have a suggested nickname for you sir: "papa robot".
Lets vote for scooter West to give robot a GTS 300 for free......the runner is a beast
That runner 180 2T is very popular in the Netherlands. That thing has a whole fan base here
I bought one 10 days ago and I can confirm it is scary fast, if you find one just buy it DO NOT HESITATE!
Thanks Robot... good to know what the ace scooter mechanic has in his shed. And enjoyable to read your Dad's comment just below mine. Joe, Perth Australia.
Robot! Classic two strokes, scooters and dirt bikes! Nice Fleet of Toys!
We waited a long time for this and boy was it worth it. What a collection man.

Very nice Robot, thanks for sharing your garage with us. I used to have a blue CB-1, it was a very fun motorcycle.
Very cool
Great vid Robot, thanks for inviting us into your garage.
I race enduro bikes mainly KTMs, but my daily ride is a GTS300.
I’ve owned all manner of bikes over the years and enjoyed them all in their own way.
Your Original Rally is my favourite in your garage 👍
Sounds like we're both on the same page. Thanks for watching!
I'm digging the Rally as much as you are. Also have a '15 GTS300 as my daily.

Thanks for the show and tell robot. 👍
Thank you for sharing your wonderful garage.
Danke fürs Zeigen (thanks for tgat tour). Regards from Bonn, Matt
That gilera runner is sweet!!! Thanks for the vid robot 🤖
No problem 👍
My first scooter was a Piaggio Storm a road wheel variant of the Typhoon. I put it through reliable tests and it did great!
Thanks for giving insight into Robot at home👍
Great video. I loved my classic small frames but the Runner 125 I used more than my 750 GSXR. I'm really thinking about a BV 350 though.
Dynotape! I haven't seen one of those since Elaine got hers back from that re-gifter Whatley.
😆
Awesome collection! Thank you for showing us! 😃
Thanks for sharing! Love the Robot Sprint!
Nice collection and garage! I once had a collection of BMWs and Ducatis but now ride a modded pre-unit iron barrel Enfield Bullet. I have an eye for the BV as my next bike when I pass the 70 mark.

That runner 180 2T is probably the fastest scooter ever made.
Nice to see your home Robot
I have a gilera Vx 125 from 2005.still working like a charm..
I love this collection of bikes. You have the exact taste as me! Dont kno what i like best. Either the rallye 200 or the dyno machine! Probably the vespa tho. Cool. The perfect garage
Right on!
That's a cool garage, label maker and all

I love the Gilera! How did you get the europe-only bikes into the USA?
Was just at Cleveland Moto talking with Phil a couple of hours ago.
Nice one Robot! I think it's great you finally posted your personal collection of bikes and why you chose them. We often wonder what two wheeled tragic's like yourself love to ride and why. Hey do you have a Yamaha Aerox Valentino Rossi Edition tucked somewhere in there 🤔🤔🤔
You make great videos. They are the best I have ever seen for help.
Wow, thanks! Glad to help.
I have a Chinese scooter. The mad mechanic cut the main harness. What your recommendation. Wish I could afford a aprilia or vespa but the would cost thousands of dollars to ship and maintain

Glad you like them!

i like you.
Which cars you like robot??
We'll have to do a video on his car quiver sometime...
Great garage
A garage laced together with battery tender cords
Like people buying G-Class and Land Rovers for city driving, people riding R1200GS do not take their bikes off-road.
Are All those bikes licensed and insured ? That’s what limits me
Love from India ❤️
