Hi John! I didn't watch this live but a bit delayed and let me tell you that you made my trip from Salamanca to Bilbao much more fun! I was cheering now and then and people gave me looks! It was fab to finally see Joseph, I didn't know what spin wheels were until I saw them, how awesome was that?!! I never run a marathon, the furthest I did was several 10 k in Stockholm, where I live. I might one day run a marathon, hubby is a bit of a pusher, and I will definetely go back to Japan and try to run there. I miss and love Japan! I think Japanese people are lovely and kind even if it's not a marathon day. And I share your passion for food no matter if it's an orange or curry bread, everything is so yummy. I lived in Kobe for 7 years so yeah, I'm Paraguayan, very Japanese but I live in Sweden and I'm no turning Swede anytime yet, I got my hubby and my two boys for that. Say hello to Joseph! We found him!! Yaaaaaaaay!!!!
I try every year :) Only 8-11% of applicants get in. I have been unlucky the last 6 years but I'm going to enter EVERY YEAR until they let me in again!! -john
Wow, I've ran 7 marathons and I never knew there's such a thing as a bottleneck during a run that's not the beginning. Very interested in the food they gave out.
I'd never seen it either since I'm usually running when I watch the end part and was shocked! I htink it may be near the water zone and people just stop in their tracks creating -- a jam!
You must have stood behind the tallest people in all of Japan. Next time get a small 3 step ladder and carry it with you - they are light and cheap. Looks like it might be fun but I do not like people and especially large crowds of people. OR you can get the kind of devices that PLASTER and DRY WALL people use. They can add 12 to 18 inches to your height and youo can walk in them,.
I've learning English at this channel.
Even I, a Japanese, can know new things about Japan haha
ONLY in JAPAN だいすき
I think it’s really funny that you get so easily distracted by food! 😛🍜🍥🍣🍱🍛🍙🍚🍘🍢🍡🍧🍨🍮🍵☕️🍶🍦
Indeed it is awesome!
Yeah! He's like "oh! Oranges!" Hahahaha 🤗🤗🤗
