Note: you cannot just outright buy the marked unit. You have to complete the mission where you scope the PD the first time to be able to buy it (sorry if someone else has already said, just making sure its known)

It would be kinda nice to have different sirens for police vehicles, and we should get outfits for it, too. Different police lights and vehicles (Vapid Stainer or Impaler)
I agree entirely, at the very least we should be allowed to have some type of gun holster available so our character isn't always pulling their weapon out of their a.
actually there was supposed to be a DLC YEARS ago. there is so much potential as a corrupt undercover cop, or a CI, or ANYTHING for that matter, kindda disappointing that after 10 years we just get cars...

Unmarked is slower and basic because it's the exact same car that's been in the game all this time. The marked is technically a new car and you can make it look like an unmarked with the black decals and gloss paint job.

You can save the police outfit from this update, it’s an easy glitch just use your terabyte wardrobe to save it, there’s a tutorial.

It would be nice that we can buy the outfits in the weapons van, taking the example that if u want to customize the cop car in ur own workshop, it would apply the same logic to buy the outfit which would be illegal

They're probably teasing the amount of detail GTA 6 cop cars will have (different liveries for different departments, varying tech arrays, lightbars, etc.). I know modders have done this with GTA 5 cops with the RDE mod, it's safe to assume Rockstar is finally making that a basegame feature in their future games.
I feel that now they have accquired the FiveM people and are working together to bring us stuff like this because the ALPRs and all the extra miscellaneous stuff seem to be almost identical hope we see more of this collab

I'm a huge nerd when it comes to cop cars so this made my day.
It has so many cool details, I love the light bars and new steelies, I just wish it had a halogen light bar option like the normal Stanier, plus having the front and rear visor/grille lights be removeable, separate antennae and plate reader options would've been nice too, and a better engine sound, other than the price and some tiny details, I love this way too much, I already have 2, might get a 3rd one 😂
Of all of the things to make me go broke, it might be this! I wish the liveries were a little more accurate to real life, and that there was a no livery option.

@@HSCS98 you have to use the vehicle workshop in either the Mobile Operations Center, Avenger, Arena, or an Agency, I would tell you which one is the cheapest but I can't remember off the top of my head. What exactly are you trying to customize anyways?
I'm also surprised the auto shop doesn't work, since that has a workshop, see if there's a garage space open, because if not then you can't take a car in to customize it.

I heard that there was supposed to be a Cops N' Crooks update a few years ago, but it was scrapped due to the George Floyd situation
There was, Ghilliemaster did 2 videos on it.
The dripfeed police gauntlet is actually from that update. They also had a police bati, caracara, riata, Buffalo stx etc that are in the game files that for some reason aren't included in this update.
Just wanted to say, there will be more vanity plates in the future since in the new vehicle heists you steal the cars like the omagio and hellfire whit other unknown vanity plates.

Wish they would add a fire department livery to the line up. Just to have something different and to finally have a fire department vehicle that is customizable.
I know same me and my buddies are firefighters and real life so we have our pagers of course if it’s not our call, if there’s a random call that comes out we would respond to it in the game. We use these cars now as our chief cars all I do is do the park Ranger one and turn the car red so I have the light bar on it too. It looks so sick.

When I booted up the game the second the update installed, I was expecting to just see the usual normal vehicles and whatnot. Upon opening Warstock, however, I was certainly caught off-guard by the appearance of police cruisers in there lol.
Despite them being very pricey (especially the Gauntlet), I'm happy that we're finally able to own and customize police vehicles. Maybe they'll add more to purchase down the road? We shall see.
They also have a Police caracara, police panto, police baiti etc that have never been released. Ghilliemaster made a video about it.
If they ever add more police stuff, expect those cars to come, which would be amazing.

By far my favorite day 1 cars in this update. We've been waiting for so long! I actually thought they would only be Pegasus vehicles. They really exceeded my expectations with these two.

This is awesome. I hope this is an indication that gta6 is going to allow you to play as a cop. They need to map a different button for the siren. That way each time you turn the lights on, the siren isn’t blaring.

I hate the fact the Police Riot has a totally false description with it saying you’re only able to modify it in a personal garage despite it only being called in via Pegasus.
Since they're adding customizable police cars now . I would love to see more police liveries and cars get added in the future. They should bring back the Police Stinger from GTA 4

If they added the FIB Buffalo it would cost like $8-10mil easy lol I think they’re finally added some police vehicles is probably that GRA V Online is nearing its end and they’re opening up on what we can buy, or maybe they were assets from the cancelled Cops & Crooks update and this update deals with enough police that we can own some of their cars (FIB Buffalo would’ve been a highlight car of the update).
I don’t understand why they didn’t add the Interceptor and Buffalo police cars too though, and also the Granger too

Because it hasn't been mentioned yet: The Unmarked Cruiser in its base state strongly reminds me of the dark grey Ford Crown Vic that Mark Hanna drove in Heat (1996). Rockstar sure love their movie references.

Check if you get weapons and armour added to your inventory most police vehicles do that that might explain the gear and the trunk
Probably not with "LE Cruiser", since it has a different name. But it probably (PROBABLY) will work with an unmarked/undercover one (I forget which weapon it adds to the player's inventory)

Another correction for you, DCA. All 3 police vehicles need unlocking. Not just the Unmarked Cruiser and the Police Riot. None of them are instantly purchasable.

I have a feeling I know what they're doing here. Since they've partnered with FiveM, the devs understand how large of a community they have here. Selling upgradable police cars for $4 Mil in GTAO can gauge interest and if it's a feasible option to add some of these police style playable game modes, as well as upgradable emergency vehicles to GTA 6. Just a thought, could be wrong.
At least we got a chunk of Cops N' Crooks dlc...

12 uears ago i had these cars in my garage... they blacklisted it and since kept making the game worse... in that time i managed to get one IRL... i have in that time gotten my drivers license... gine through a couple of cars and now currently have my restored crown vic back to how it was in service for El Segundo.

I’m gonna go for the undercover one, mainly because you can only find that in story.
Mc businesse gets raided randomly says "protect your business" but that job is like a random police raid and they mostly will pull up in the unmarked stainers online
Imagine how much better this would be if whenever there's a criminal then you would be able to see them on your minimap as a flashing red an blue marker. If you could arrest them that would be sick too. Or maybe if the police equipment actually worked, like if the speed guage could capture nearby speed of vehicles. Maybe even having a K9 you could buy for it an have it work how chop does. The floodlights should work, it's pretty dumb how they don't. They could've added spike strips that could be stored in the back and deployed from there or just have it the same way landmines are in other vehicles. So many things that are easily possible but they decided not to add them. All of them are balanced too, I mean you're paying 3mil for a car for the looks.. the effort is so minimal yet they miss out opportunities to make money and to get a better rep from their players.

those little camera things on top of the police car are ALPR (Automatic License Plate Readers) which actively scan and check license plates as the car drives.
My favorite thing to do would to be to go onto GTAO and steal a cop car and try to keep it in a nice condition. I would then go park in a high pop area and just wait for somebody to speed by. Lot of the times they play along and would have these goofy chases and I stay using the combat pistol only . Feels surreal I can just buy a cop cruiser now tho.

Marked is way cooler. So many different jurisdictions liveries many different lights and customization including ALPR’s plus you can still make it look unmarked or give it a ghost livery

Search lights also work but not with push bar lights installed learn that recently through test only one additional lighting can be used, the other is cosmetic

I bought the riot van. To customize it says on the website can only be customized at properties you own that's false advertising

I’m really glad they had three police cars. But I hope there’s a couple more in the drip feed. I remember the days on Xbox 360 there was a RUclipsr that would show how to get rare vehicles, and there were so many different cop cars I would love to see unfortunately in the Xbox one they took that feature away though, and just replaced them with regular vehicles. Are there even more rare used to get the undercover Buffalo by the satellite dishes does not show up anymore. But I hope. I really want them to break the undercover Buffalo and all the other ones so they can be purchasable. So hopefully there’s some more in the drip feed.
I think rockstar really worked with some fivem people with this dlc and help create some thing customization for the cruisers

@@LockheedC-130HerculesOfficialI bought both. They have different light bar set ups on the inside, but the downside is the unmarked is slower.
Unmodded the unmarked is around 102mph topspeed as tested by broughy1322.. waiting on new test's now when he has the time, to see what difference the performance upgrades do. Not sure about the marked one
