- Hello crafty friends! I am back with a NEW video in my SheetLoad Rewind Series. Today, we will be revisiting the December 2019 SheetLoad of Cards. I will be using a page of tag cut aparts and showing you how I adjusted the cutting guides to yield fifteen (15) total cards. Always get great ideas from your videos. QOTV-I use white, ivory, and craft card bases. Rarely I will use a different color.

#QOTV. I use white “heavy” cardstock from Hobby Lobby mostly. Occasionally, I use kraft color or very rarely, a colored cardstock from The STamps of Life products.

QOTV...usually use white cardbase n envelopes that I hv purchased on sale. This last year a couple dear friends gave me their stash of colored cardstock ... I was thrilled!!! Been making cards so much that this has been a wonderful gift as I just cut a stack of r inbow colors and use what one goes w patterned paper. Love yr ideas! Happy New Year!

#QOTV I usually stick to a white card base.....Every once in a while, I will use a different color.... But, it's almost always white bases for me.

Lovely cards! #QOTV I use a lot white cardstock for bases. Sometimes I place a colored piece over the white, but tend to use less expensive white. Much of my white is Hobby Lobby purchased on sale, so it is economical as you use yourself.
That is a good idea to cover the front with a color, but use the white base! Thanks for watching and sharing :)

#QOTV I use accent opaque white from Amazon 120 lb mostly but love craft too and other specialty colors. I love these cards and have those tags😄

#QOTV: I tend to stick with ivory, white, kraft paper and black. Although certain seasons merit a mix up. I also find that I put in the inside of the card a white or ivory paper to stamp the sentiment, or writings so it is easy to see when the card base is not light color.

#qotv I always have white, blk, vanilla cardstock on hand. Then the rest depends on prices. When I see stuff on sale I will often buy it. But I do appreciate when you show the Kraft and clear cardbases and how they are used so this gives me a good idea when I see them on sale also 😀 love the video thank you for sharing ❤

A great adaptation of the original SLOC. The warm colors speak to me.😀 #QOTV: I donate most of my cards so I use shades of white for the most part so I don't have to cut an extra piece for the inside. I'll use colored CS bases if the card seems to need it. Nice gift from your family. I use my mini-scoreboard way more often than the big one and guess you will, too.
I hear you on the white for the inside! For the January SheetLoad I went with a darker colored base and had too add the white. I like how it turned out in the end, but was extra work. ;) I have already used my new board a couple more times and love it. Thanks for watching and sharing :)

You most certainly have an eye for choosing papers! These are so super cute and I love how you matched them all together! I love your ideas of using up the scraps by adding the extra fishtail piece to the inside of the card, and cutting your fishtail to make it look longer! These are great tips and I appreciate you sharing them with us!
On a side note, did you see the latest echo park winter 6x6 paper pad? I snagged mine (along with the FREE tags/banners set) from scrapbook.com! There are two collections one being a mega pack, which is the one I grabbed because it comes with coordinating colored cardstock to match the patterned paper! See you tomorrow for the special edition of Oh So Inspired! Can't wait!
Choosing papers from the same collection helps so much with matching them together - the company does most of the work for me ;) I'm not sure if I have seen that one - I have a winter pad I got while in Iowa, but think it may be Winter Market. I'll have to check out the one you mention - you know I LOVE my Echo Park! :) Thanks for watching.

Gorgeous set of cards! Doodlebug and Simple Stories usually include a sheet of tags with their collections, so they’re two great options for this SheetLoad design. I think I’ll need to try this SheetLoad soon! QOTV: I like to mix it up with colored cardstock to match the patterned paper I’m using on the cards. I do default to white and especially craft colored very frequently, but I also love a good colored card base too! TFS!

QOTV I tend to use white or black for my card bases. I buy white blank cards only. Sometimes I'll use a colored base if it goes with the patterned paper I'm using.

#QOTV I let the pattern paper guide my card stock choice. So I use lots of different colors. I love this set of cards. Happy New Year!

Love these cards, Alicia! Great idea to use the cut aparts for tags. #QOTV It depends on the card I am making. I love to use a coverplate/background die and then layer it on top of the same color cardstock. The texture is just lovely.

#QOTV. I’d say 50% of the time I’d use white. Some cards need colorful bases and I do like to use vanilla bases for softer colors

Lovely cards Alicia! This is a great use of the printed tags that are on 12x12 printed paper. 🧐 I’ll have to check my stash to see if I have some. #QOTV I mostly use neutral heavyweight cardstock for my card bases but on occasion I will use colored CS.

This was a great video right now as I needed to make several birthday cards for a gift and looked through my paper pads and found tag cut aparts that were all birthday themed. I’m starting today. Thanks. #QOTV I pretty much do what you do mainly using white or cream card bases but occasionally use other colors.

#QOTV normally my card bases are white or craft but I have done red, orange, and black when feeling saucy. I do obviously have to glue or tape in a light colored paper when card base is a darker color.

#QOTV. Love the way you made these cards. I usually use basic colors for my card bases as well. I have that sentiment stamp set also and love it! I do have a question though. I have purchased that fun foam and have been hesitate on using it like you did on the tags for your cards. I know you anchored them down for a few minutes, but do you find that they are secure enough over a long period of time to stay put and not come loose? Thanks for sharing this card rewind! I have some paper with these types of tags on them and this is a great way to use them!
I haven't done any tests to see how long the foam will stay put. I was hoping since it was a quality glue it would stay put for a while. Maybe someone else will chime in here too. Thanks for watching and sharing! :)

Love these cards, Alicia. I need to check in with my local store to see if she ordered me this Simple Stories collection ,
re: the #QOTV - I mix it up. Sometimes I'll do a colour base, because I have SO much Stampin' Up coloured cardstock, and I love how it goes with my patterned paper (I tend to use SU patterned paper in cards). But I also like Neenah Solar White for bases, in 110lb weight.
