For equipment I use the Scarlett 2i2 Studio bundle for recording audio; Garageband for editing audio; either my iPhone or my Canon EOS Rebel SL2 for recording video; and iMovie for editing video. Usually I take a karaoke/instrumental from youtube, but in this case, i wanted to make my own instrumental in a higher key so i made one in garageband using its built-in instruments.
