    In my view, to be a grandparent doesn't mean you must stay with your grandchildren. Their own parents must take responsibility for their children. It's natural.

      Unfortunately some parents have passed and the grandparents are kind. They don't want them to be on the streets so they take them in. The youth of today do not know what hardship is or doing things for themselves. My heart goes out for this old lady. Probably too scared to file a complaint because she is afraid he would finish the job once out on bail or prison.

      @lauracowan8287 I like white people. They don't even start to be nannies to their grandchildren. White people teach their children to take responsibility for themselves and their deeds from baby hood. After a child finishes school, grade 12, s/he must take a gap year, go, and work somewhere, e.g. restaurants or other places. At that time, the child is renting to be in the house.
      Yes, they can keep you in if you're at varsity and you don't have enough money to reside there. But the main idea is that you must take responsibility for your life. If not, you stay in the street and search for food from the dustbin.
      After 18, you're old enough to take responsibility for your life. White people s children grow up knowing that.

    I'm also disappointed in the community. They should have dealt with him accordingly. Imagine the granny saying, "You want to kill me in my own house."
    Uyadzelela lomfana, he should've been dealt with accordingly then jail.

    The answer is simple promote families set ups rather than promoting homosexuality...empower families were there is a male and a female raising a family.. because if there was a fatherly figure the story would have been different... every family needs a man... to bring order and discipline... women led families struggle with disciplining children and in most cases single women are raising families so it's starts with these small abuses until they become rapist... discipline is needed

    • @MoTee1
      @MoTee1 Месяц назад +1

      True and men like you need to intervene and mentor and raise young men to be God fearing and disciplined men of valor. The responsibility cannot be put on our governments and women. We need men to not just make babies but decide to play their roles as fathers. Even if your sister is the single mother play that fatherly role to your nephew. Don't just see problems be part of the solution and influence your peers. Men need to know what it means to be a leader and build themselves up to be fit for the task.

    The law must be harsher to stop this kinds of actions against the elderly. Not long ago it was a girl assaulting her granny for social grant in Kzn. Coincidentally such attacks takes place during the grant payments day. Remember the same grannies that put food on their table.

  • @khutjomasha

    Bring back God and culture in schools and communities, the family structure is crumbling, children are lost ,the elderly are confused and tired......we really need to build strong communities by helping each other, not being nonchalant and ignorant, it really takes a village to raise a child.

    Not condoning his behavior but we need to ask ourselves why are our young men especially Black and coloureds behaving like this. As a country we need to address the issue of unemployment drugs broken families and absent father's. This hopelessness is the one that breads such behavior.
