There is no downfall of Karachi like you are implying. Karachi keeps growing, keeps feeding whole country, earns dollar and pays taxes for whole country. Just this channel provides more than enough evidence for that. Karachiites who strive are successful here and abroad. I am one of those Muhajir whose parents immigrated from India, Karachi afforded me good education, good career, went abroad earned there and came back here for the life here. I have lived in 7 cities in 4 countries and I will always settle in Karachi.

The Karachi I know used to have a better drainage system, open spaces, public parks, proper garbage disposal, cleanliness, safety, clean public toilets, enough roads to accommodate traffic, etc. I am just stating facts without getting emotionally attached. I was born in Karachi but grew up abroad before coming back here to Karachi, and I saw how a developing country responds to growing demands in various sectors. There is definitely a massive downfall in this city in almost all sectors.
